    Is it possible colitis with constipation without any bleeding (no diarrhea) ?

    My father is 57 year old facing constipation problem from last 10 years, recently i came to know by ultrasound that he have colitis signal but not diarrhea kind of problem.

    He did stool test also but no blood detected but it give positive for bacteria.But doctor told him few bacteria always present in stool.

    thanx but there are diarrhea reported with colitis only according to study/research.
    do you have any case or treatment for this kind of disease ?

    You would treat constipation as you normally would even without colitis; high fiber, extra fluids, increased exercise, checking medications to make certain they are not contributing to the constipation (i.e., pain medications are notorious for this).
