Irritable Bowel Syndrome: Resolved
LogicSense posted:
Irritable Bowel Syndrome is an 'umbrella' diagnosis given to patients that have not been properly diagnosed. In order to accurately treat your symptoms, the causes of them must be identified by a trained doctor. If you have been diagnosed with IBS, it is imperative that you seek a more concise diagnosis.

The diagnosis of IBS tells you no more than what you have told the doctor: that you have irritable bowels. Often, it may be the result of a disruption in your nervous system; particularly the pain matrix in the brain (often found with tissue pain or chronic fatigue) becomes hypersensitive. However, if your doctor does not know what to look for, they will not find the cause.
