Hey ladies! I'm so sorry I haven't been online lately. Ugh, morning sickness has me beat everyday! Its been so bad I haven't even been able to work much the past couple of weeks. And with so much time on my hands I would normally be on here but I'm just so sick I literally live in my bed or on the couch. But since yesterday I've been feeling "well enough" (between throwing up) to push myself to work and function somewhat normally. My dr. put me on anti nausea pills since nothing over the counter (tips, etc) were working. Unfortunately the anti nausea pills don't really work for me either. My biggest challenge has been to stay hydrated. I'm at 9 weeks now so hopefully in about 3-4 weeks (or sooner I hope) the nausea should be dying down and I can get back to normal. To get my mind off the morning sickness I just keep thinking about how much I can't wait to meet my little baby when he/she comes along!!

I have so much catching up to do with everyone but I probably won't be able to read all of the posts I've missed. So if I've missed any big news or anything important going on with anyone, please fill me in. I've missed you all and hope you are all doing really well!!!

Hi Carrie!

I'm new to the board, so "nice to meet you"!

Congratulations on your pregnancy! That is so exciting!! My husband and I are trying for baby number one, and I was just joking with my co-workers the other day saying that at this point I'm actually looking forward to morning sickness. After reading your post I will definitely think twice before I wish that upon myself again! Glad that you seem to be feeling a little better!

Hope you feel better soon. but I am thrilled that your pgcy is still going well otherwise. I know girls who were comforted by the nausea at first because it meant there was a kiddo in there. But after a while, they started to get beaten down by it.

Feel better soon.

Hi Shannon, its nice to meet you too! Kind of stinks that we meet under these conditions having endo and all, lol, but at least we can make something good come out of endometriosis and that is to make new friends and be able to support one another through everything we go through I totally felt the same way about morning sickness when my husband and I were trying, I was always saying I looked forward to it because I would at least be pregnant, lol. So yeah, I definitely regret saying that, ha ha, but oh well. Chances are you won't have morning sickness as bad as I do. I have IBS on top of everything so my tummy is super sensitive to everything, when I wasn't pregnant I normally get nauseous very easily so it was bound to be this extreme for me. One plus is that genetics play a roll with it so it your mother didn't have much morning sickness you might not either. And of course, really, its all worth it in the end. Good luck to you and your husband! TTC for baby no 1 can be such an exciting time and I hope you guys enjoy it and that it goes well for you!!

Thanks for the encouragement Sadie!!! And yes Holly, I try to remember that the nausea is just a "reminder" from my baby saying "hey, you can't see me, but I'm still in here", lol! Thanks everyone for your support. Did I mention that I'm due on October 31st! A halloween baby!

I am just so excited for you carrie.. morning sickness is the pits but just take it one meal at a time lol..

have you tried the candies they sell i think preggie pops and preggie drops.. they were too sweet and made mine worse but a bunch of my friends swear by them..

also when i had mine my doctor suggested trying naseau liquid it's over the counter but you have to get it from the pharmacist because it has to be kept cold...

congrats again and i hope you are able to get around better soon..

Thanks Brandi! Tried preggie pops and it made it worse for me too I think because they are so sweet. Haven't tried the nausea liquid but I'll go check it out, I'll try anything at this point, lol!

BTW Brandi how are you feeling after your surgery?

know for those things not having "sugar" they are like rot your teeth sweet..

everything makes me naseaus so when i was pg it was horrible too.. but my doctor swore by that stuff.. i always meant to try it but dangit if the pharmacy lines around here aren't always forever long.

i am doing ok.. still feel the same but i expected that much since they didn't actually do anything lol.. just call me pin cushion girl....

now i get to take a short lupron plunge and then another surgery full cut this time in june.. oh the things i have to look forward too..SBSB

mcgalla replied to brandib01's response:
Did they just open you up to see what was going on in there or did they remove anything? The next surgery in June, is it going to be a laparotomy (sp?) where they make a bigger inscision?
Carrie

brandib01 replied to mcgalla's response:
yeah laparatomy next time..

no they went in to do the surgery but found a hot mess in there.. multiple endometriomas and cysts my tubes were fused so was parts of my bowel. another part of my bowel was pushed into the culdesac area and it was on my bladder.. so he just wasn't prepared for all that. so the nest will have a urologist and a gi in there so he doesn't cut too much and cause damage..

fun stuff.. he said since i still function he wouldn't have expected it..and that i have a very high pain tolerance.. i was like duh im a woman lol...

mcgalla replied to brandib01's response:
Wow that does sound like a hot mess! Well its good that you had the surgery so they could find all of that. I hope the next one goes really well and they are able to get some things, maybe even everything (fingers crossed) back to the way it should be. And hopefully it will eliminate much of the pain you have.

And yes, we women are able to tolerate a lot of pain, men have no idea, lol! But thankfully there are a few out there that are our supporters!

Congrats!!! Whenever I hear of someone with endo having a baby I get so hopeful. I have IBS I never thought of that issue, and celiac disease..oh no. We were TTC then I changed career paths and we decided to wait. But it may be too late! My breasts have been sore for a week, thats never happened ever and my mom said that was her first clue with me. I test tomorrow, I'm so excited! Except for morning sickness. I hate being nauseas more than anything. Id rather take a punch to the face than be nauseas for one minute. I'm going to be the worst pregnant person ever, if im lucky
