Chances of inheriting endometriosis

I have endometriosis and have had two little girls. My worry is for my daughters. I don't want them to have to live with this condition. Does anyone know what the chances of inheriting the condition are? And does anyone have the condition and have a daughter who does'nt? I can't stop worrying about this. Please any advice?

I'm not sure if this'll help at all, but I've been told by my dr. that it isn't genetically related; not something that you necessarily can pass on. It stands to reason in my mind that if it was genetically inherited, wouldn't our mothers/grandmothers/aunts/ etc have it? wouldn't they have passed it on? I know that neither my grandmother, mother, of aunts have it. I hope that helps even just a little!!!

Oh that helps thank you I hate this condition sometimes I feel like it affects my life alot. I don't want my kids to suffer. No one in my family has this and everyone gets pregnant really easy. I'm the only one who has had to struggle a bit more.
