hi

i saw my neuro visit today and learned something new.

There have been morings where I have been waked up by jasyn and said I have had froth ALL over my mouth.

THe doc said I can have sub-clinical szs which means no out ward activity that can be seen. but I wake up not every day with the frothy mouth but non the less I do.

so now I have to have another EEG this wed and an ambulatorty EEG next thrus. I thought I was going to be home but I guess not. Now I have to change the ticket to an open ended ticket so I can stay here on the mainland as long as I need toget all this crap done with.

hesaid frothing at the mouth now matter what time it is or where I am is NOT normal. so I have to put up with his nonsence.

HE also upped my Vimpat anpther 100 mgs so nwp I take 600 of that.

Hi Nancy,

Yep, in the world of EP we can learn something 'new' almost everyday. I hate to hear you have yet another type of seizure activity. I think what you are experiencing is what I have referred to in other posts. Silent Seizures. And like your other seizure types: Unpredictable. And that Ain't Nonsense! Your DR is telling the Truth! I hope your EEG's (2 EEG's? YUCK) pick up on the activity & hopefully the increase in meds Stops them. Get ya some olive oil or Veggie oil & mix w/ Conditioner, to get that glue out.

Relax & ENJOY your Visit. HUGS!

hi Candi,

HE said tha they are called sub-clinical szs. No owtward activity but it is on fire in the brain wiht no clinical signs.

HE did NOT like the fact tha whe nI wake up sometimes and have froth ALL over my mouth along with alot of drool.

I think that is one r eason why he wa tned to run those EEGs and the other reason is becuase i ahve not had one since '07.

went to bed with headache and woke up with an even BIGGER headache.

son't know what that means, but ihave to watch out becuase I might be setting up for szs. Sometimes headaches can be auras for me. but going to bed gets rid of the headaches NOT make then WORSE.

Oh well,

Nancy

3 Ibupropen & sleep does it for me. Headache gone when I awake. So far, no headache has ever triggered a seizure in me. Knock on Wood! But, yes, you still need to be 'cautious'. I Know headaches can be triggers or forewarnings. Hope you have a Good Day! HUGS!
