Hello Delta,

Are you still w/ us? I am Candi. If you have been reading posts then you know Why it took me so long to reply. I still have to defragment, but, need to remove some of my Kids Programs B4 my comp will do this. My neighbor has been such a Big Help. Sorry for ramblin.

Your question?? Will first hand experience count as a Resource? Me, Sis & Daughter have nocturnal seizures. Plus, many more over the yrs have posted about them. We have seizures at nite (nocturnal) that are convulsions aka tonic-clonics. But, you can have other Types of seizure activity in your sleep, that do not include convulsions. Do you know what happens or has someone described what happens? What medication are you on? Did your DR ask you to keep a Journal (more Info under Tips) &/or seizure tracker? (epilepsy.com has the best according to others' w/ EP. )

I want to encourage you to continue Learning All you can about All aspects of Epilepsy. Knowledge is Power! Especially when dealing w/ DRS & meds. Please, use the blue tag, Drugs & Supplements, above, to learn more about your med. There are Reviews by other Patients on some of the meds. Just keep in mind, Side effects are what we watch for, not what will, necessarily, be. Plus, a Good Diet Regimen will help w/ side effects by diminishing &/or eliminating them & possibly helping you w/ seizure control. How many 'episodes' have you had?

Sorry for the questions. Not! I really need to know More. So I can help you.

Love Candi

P.S. Please check the boards often for a reply. I hope my comp will be Ok w/in 24-48 hrs. Hopefully, others will respond, too. Use our Community Search to see any previous conversations on this topic. Chek our Resources for Epinet.org or use your Search engine. It is an Australian site, but, the Info is Easy to understand.
