Did you know that with holding someones meds is a felonious act?

I was staying with somone 2 years ago that were supposed to be friends after I got out of the hospital I was in for 4 days after a direct admitt from the ER.

The person who went into my house on teh way home took all my pain meds from me and with held them for 1.5 weeks.

I called my TMJ doc and his assitant told me it was a felony to do what she was doing at the time. She made this person mad by telling her so and demanding that she give it back, no such luck. Not even his meds that he gave me for my jaw. She just took everything--did not care if any of it said it had to be taken everyday. So I had nothing for my knee, ankle, jaw, or head.

She took and hid it all and said she was doing me a favor.

She thinks my AEDs are too "hard" of a drugs for me. Especially the Vimpat and tthe otyher 2 as well does not think I need all that stuff, just the VNS.

She told me I "tarnished" her name and thta we were going to go to the TMJ doc that morning and she was going to challenge him about what he gives me. Waste 40 minutes of his time. She tarnished her own name by doing what she did. They wanted to press charges on her and have the police pick her up and haul her to jail for doing what she did.

I cancelled the appt unbenouced to her, that fell on my b day and told his assistant to give that 40 minutes to a new patient or divide it up between 2 patients. THey thanked me.

Further more my meds he gives me is all counted out and so is everyone elses. The state will only give me so much per month right now.

PLEASE DO NOT give your meds to anyone else even if they have the same problem as you and do not let somone else take them from you. The results can be nasty!

Sorry for ventnig but this has been bothering me as of late becuase I was staying with them for 2 weeks and had to hide my Vicodin from her.

Yes I knew that was a felony. As well as giving a person to take the medicine that it was not prescribed for. She also sounds like she is on a major ego trip. or maybe even paranoia. She had no right to do that. You could have easily done what the doctors office said to do. You did what you did to keep peace.I do not believe you said anything about her being a Dr.

She is NOT a Dr. Just someone who is a pill seeker and has pill seeking behaviour.

She even took some of my meds.

She thought she was helping me by taking my meds away from me so I could NOT take them.

She even took my VImpat away as well becuase it is a Class V drug

I do not feel as though as if our relation ship with them is the same as it was before.

I have to hide them before she comes over or any narcotic.

This time Ih ad to hide some of them in a drawed berried in my beenie babies adb some in our hamper before I left for the hospital to have major recontructive jaw surgery.

It just doesn't feel the smae any more.

Nancy,

Since you can no longer trust the Lady things will Never be the Same. Too Bad! But, you really don't need a 'friend' like That, at all. Find a Good Stash Place! So that any time she comes to visit you will know Exactly where to put it, Quickly! Laundry Hamper is Good! But, look for a more convenient place. Never hide them in your room or other obvious areas.

A good idea would to be like in a lock box. So even if she should find them she can't get at them.

the hamper was done with luck one time.

But after I got out of the hospital 2 yerts ago for a break-thru sz I was perfectly fine with ME going in the house to get them but she said she would and removed everything she wanted and hid or "Tucked them away" as she said.

I got lucky with the ones my TMJ one that he was giving me becuase his assistant had called me just to see how i was doing, THey do that with me every now and then becuase I have been treated there for 7 years and they check in on me.

When she asked me if I needed a refill on my Percocet I said wouldn;t know becuase they were being hid from me she then told me that was a felonious act and then she watned the cell phone # of that so-called friend so i gave it to her and she called the person and when she got home SHeonly gave back the percocet and nothing else, then when I told her that he adn his assistant told me tht is was that I got mad and she told me that she was never so upset in her life and was pounding on everything she could find to piunt on and even pumnnled me on my arm.

WHen my mom got to back home to see me the friend wanted to waste40 minutes of his time TO CHALLENGE him about what he is giviing me. this person showed her a sandwhich bag wiht al my meds in it tha she though were too stron and she got into trouble with my mom amd the TMJ doc.

She got into trouble with my neruo for taking the Vimpat away from me ase we ll.

UHGG.

Any way the TMJ pain is g one and now it is just surical pain from teh TMJ surgery. I went from 9mm to 30 mms from that usrgery.

I have not made an appt with him or my neruo yet because I live in Honalulu, HI. My hubby's insurance pays for me to go there nad get my neuro to adjust my meds or my VNS. THE PT is also here on the mainland, but Iam going to quit that becuase it is from a bronken ankle so i can fins a PT therpist in Honalulu.

I am sprry to vent but she can be ar eal pain sometmes.

Ealier she tried the same junk with the Vicodin adn I hid that so well I forget where I put it. IT took me 2 days to actually find it. The rest of teh stuff was hidden else where.

I got back to Honalulu and fle back with my 16 yr old and what and ordeal that was. now she is back in school aft er staying with my mom while I wanted to just re lax. NEVER happened. I told the TMJ doc I would not be making an appt for a while. THen neuro is not until july 17 and my ortho is not until agust 17.

sio I have a while until I see them, adn can NOW relax.
