First:You have seen your MD & his advice to continue Driving is Wrong! Get a Neuro Referral ASAP! If your Insurance doesn't require a referral from your MD, then seek a Neuro & make an appt Monday! Call your MD's office & Demand a Ref if needed. Please, if for no other reason than to have tests run to determine the fall did not injure your brain! Under Resources: We have Dr Questions. You can search for DRS near you on this site. Or you can visit epilepsytalk.com for a list of Drs/specialists recommended by others w/ Epilepsy, if needed. Keep in mind: One seizure does Not Mean you have Epilepsy. 2 or more are considered Epilepsy or Seizure Disorder. It could be weeks, months even yrs B4 another episode. Or it may never happen again. Again: Time will Tell.
Fact: everyone experiences at least 1 seizure in their lifetime. Fact: Recovery from a concussion & seizure activity takes Time! You should be resting & get adequate Sleep every nite. 8-10 Hrs! Fact: We don't All have Warnings when it comes to Seizure activity. Did Witnesses describe your incident to you &/or call EMT's? Did anyone Time the Seizure?
Fact: Epilepsy/seizure activity Scare those around us! Why? Because they are Uneducated! It is unfortunate that your Hubby is being mean & unsupportive, too!

I Hope it is just due to the fact that he wasn't there & is Just as Uneducated.

No, people who no nothing, don't know what to say. Some can't even tell you Proper Seizure First Aid. They have probably never even witnessed a seizure, so how can they know what to say? Or how to be supportive?
