My two year old son was recently diagnosed with CM1. We found that he had the disorder after having a few seizures over the last few months. They did an MRI and found that he had CM1. I am a bit confused by all contradictory information that is out there on this disorder. His is 12mm as of right now and we go in a week for another MRI on his spine to check for fluid. Do people with CM1 typically live a normal life? What are some of their restrictions?
