erectile dysfunction from herniated discs?

im 29 develpped severe uninary urgincy then two weeks later ed this has lasted three years now been through the work up no findings but 2 lumbar herniated discs l4/l5 l5/s1 i feel very strongly that this is my problem please any insight will be a help dont know what else to do looking to have my bad discs replaced hoping for the best

Yes, problems with the lumbar spine can be responsible for erectile problems and for continence problems due to disruption in the normal nerve tracks to pelvic organs (from the spinal cord).

You might not need surgery, but may need only physical therapy to relieve the problems.
