I'm 29 years old, un-married guy (about to get married). My problem is as below:

1) Erection lasts for a very short while. Like during foreplay when I get a good erection, and just when I proceed towards intercourse it drops!! And it doesn't come back again till I have forgotten about having sex that day.

2) If I enter as soon as my erection comes, I face the problem of premature ejaculation.

I have been in embarrassing situations with my girl friend when we have foreplay i get full erection but as times goes it suddenly falls after which i don't get a proper erection to penetrate.I try my best to fantasize myself in all possible ways but without any success.I end it by giving up.

PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

This sounds very similar to what I've experienced; a strong erection that fades quickly often not remaining long enough (no pun intended) for penetration. Even when penetration does occur, the erection may quickly fail during intercourse. Tons of frustration and anxiety!

After many, many years of mounting frustration and anxiety, I saw a urologist who injected a medication into the penis causing an erection in about 10 minutes. He then used an ultrasound to check the blood flow. He found that there was no problem with blood flow into the penis, however, the veins that close down and hold blood in the penis were not working properly. "Venous Leakage"

If this is the problem, it won't matter how much stimulation or fantasy you have, there is a physical problem. Also medications like Viagra will be of little help because the problem is not inflow, it is outflow.

Get yourself to an urologist (preferably one who specializes in ED) and get checked out.

It sound like it's mental and fit of the penis. You have to exercise your penis just like any other part of the body. I have a free website where I over penis exercises and resources for ED and premature ejaculation. Take a look around at http://www.waystomakepenisbig.blogspot.com . Get "IT" fit there. Hope this helps.

Okay, I'm long-winded but I hope this helps. I'm 54 yo. Starting around age 38 I had more and more difficulty achieving an erection and when I was successful, it generally wouldn't last more than a couple of minutes. If I could penetrate the erection would quickly fail. Taking Viagra class medications seemed to help obtain an erection more quickly but the erection wasn't any stronger and still would not last.

I had years and years and years of tremendous sadness, frustration, anxiety, anguish, sense of loss, depression ....

Last year when I visited my urologist, I finally had the nerve to talk with him about the problem. He was very understanding and compassionate, this is not an unusual conversation for your doctor. He referred me to a specialist in penile structure and ED. As described in other posts, he injected a medication that (with a little encouragement) causes an erection within about 10 minutes. (While the erection went away shortly, the injection site hurt for hours.)

At that point he performed an ultrasound. I really didn't know what it could show, after all double doses of Cialis didn't work.

He met with me to share the results of the exam. He explained that an erection occurs when the arteries relax allowing blood to flow into the chambers of the penis and the veins out of those chambers close down keeping the blood in the penis. More inflow, no outflow = erection.

Most problems men have with ED are caused by failure to get enough blood into the penis. The arteries become stiff and constricted due a variety of reasons such as high blood pressure, smoking or high cholesterol. Viagra class drugs cause the arteries to relax and open increasing inflow to the penis.

However, the other side of the equation is the restriction of blood coming out of the penis. When veins fail to close down retaining blood in the penis, the erection fails. This is known as 'venous leakage.' I assume that there are a variety of reasons this can occur, however, in my case there was a structural problem. Instead of a single vein coming out of each side of the penis on one side there were a myriad of small veins. Blood leaks through that network of small veins, relieves pressure and the erection fails.

The good news is that I can live my life knowing that it doesn't matter how much Viagra I take, or stimulation I receive or open communication I have with my wife or how great my mental attitude, the erection is going to fail. It isn't my fault, there is a structural problem.

The bad news is there is no magic pill. There are only two treatments.

1) A constriction ring that I place around the base of the penis when I achieve an erection. The ring constricts the veins and keeps blood in the penis allowing a strong, hard erection. Google "Encore ImpoAid Erection Ring Kit." This kit has an applicator that stretches out the ring (which is soft, not some S&M torture device) and allows you to comfortably move the ring onto the base of the penis. Putting on the ring takes all of 10 seconds. The kit includes rings of different sizes so you can find the one that is comfortable and works. The rings eventually wear out, so a kit like this allows you to find which size you'll want to order in the future.

2) An Inflatable Prosthetic Implant (IPP). No worries, a strong erection every time that lasts as long as you want it to last. 98% satisfaction rate. No loss of sensation. Not visible to others. If you're part of a group medical plan, the procedure is often covered when it is shown to be required to correct a structural problem. But, it is a device and won't last forever. Average lifespan is 10 - 15 years.

That's it, go see a good urologist with the expertise in ED to do a good work-up, determine what your issues are and look at treatment options.
