bad circumsicion

An_245443 posted:
My son had a circumsicion done just a few years ago as the pediatrician recommended it as his foreskin appeared to be adhered to the head of his penis. After the procedure had healed, it appeared that my son had no foreskin left. The doctor told me to to worry. My son is now 7 years old, and he has absolutely no foreskin left....the head of his penis is completely exposed. I am VERY concerned not only functional wise, but he has on occasion mentioned not having any feeling on the head of his penis.

no foreskin on his penis is nott an issue. Many men are cidrcumsiced and have normal sex. I would recommend that you talk with your own providre or someone who can advise you if this is something to be concerned about. Then decide what the next step is if he needs treatment.

Not to worrry just go to altpenis, there you will find some info on regrowing a foreskin, its a device he wears during the day and what it does is resteach the skin to form a new one.
Good Luck

My concern is not the foreskin but the numbness that he is telling you about. You need to talk to someone like your provider to see if this is an issue. One other thing that came to my mind is that I have had my penis fall asleep like an arm or leg and arub it like a leg or arm to get the feeling backand is it possble that is what is happening to him as he is quite young and would not know how to describe it to you.

Let us know how things turn out.

NOHARD replied to abe648's response:
Numbness is something most circumsized men complaine about, and that they get no feeling during sex, so you will find that a lot of men who have had reoaugmentheion of the foreskin by the streching method, are saying this something that has really worked for them.

I really appreciate all of the replys I received. It's a big relief to kknow my son probably has nothing to worry about. I am soooo relieved. I'll make sure to mention to the pediatrician on my son's next well child check-up about the "numbness" he occasionally mentions. Thank you to all who responded.

You said that "his foreskin appeared to be adhered to the head of his penis." That is normal for young boys' penises.
"Before birth, the foreskin and penis grow as a single
structure. After birth, the foreskin slowly begins to loosen
over a period of years. As the inner layer dissolves, excess
skin cells slough off and appear as small, white lumps. Few
foreskins retract in the first year, most take many years,
while some never retract—this is all normal." (From http://www.intactamerica.org/sites/default/files/Foreskin_Care_Guide_for_Parents.pdf )
