concerns about orgasm without sperm production

My boyfriend has had mild prostate problems in the past which were treated successfully. He is worried because he does not produce sperm when he has an orgasm. He has no pain or other problems. Is this something to be concerned about? He does have ED which he takes Viagra for on occasion. Appreciate anything you could tell us so we know what to do.

Since sperm cannot be seen without the use of a microscope, your boyfriend is likely worried about not seeing semen being released during an orgasm.

This may be due to something known as retrograde ejaculation:
