Trying to support my husband
An_252617 posted:
First of all, I have major depressive disorder. I have a very hard time getting in the mood, but my husband hasn't been able to perform for a year. We had one incident where he was drunk and couldn't gain an erection a s he reacted very poorly to it. He didn't tell me about the issue until a few months ago when we couldn't get things going, I thought it was me and I tried to cut myself in front of him. He told that the thought of having sex gave him stage fright. Since then I have been very supportive. I regularly give him genuine compliments, massage him, kiss him, I even started stripping for him. All is to no avail. He can masturbate, but can't have sex with me. Everyday I become more distraught about this, I don't push him, and I have remained supportive, but this is taking a toll on us. I'm 24 and he is 26, we have been together for 9 years and I don't want to lose him. Please help.
