Forgetting eye drops

Spast posted:
I seem to forget to use my glaucoma drops every few days. Is this OK? Does anyone have any tricks that help them remember their drops?

Tom_H responded:
There is an app for you! EyeDROPS, available on Android and iPhones, will allow you to schedule your drops and you will then get a reminder when each one is due. It will track your usage and tell you your compliance and when each bottle is low. You can then tap to call your pharmacy. Many other features are there including keeping your eye history and pressure readings.
You can try it by going to the app store and typing in eyedrops.

Alan M Kozarsky, MD replied to Tom_H's response:
This is an important new option for people that must take eyedrops on a long term basis for conditions like glaucoma.

We all know how hard it is to remain faithful about taking any medication on schedule. This should be a big help for many of our patients.
