Extraocular Muscle Actions

So I've got a bit of a problem with my right eye.
I wen't surfing about 3 days ago, I wore my contact lenses while in the water, but took them off afterwords when I got home. I didn't have any blow to the eye or anything, but the next morning my eye seemed as if it was "swelling" on the outsides and rotation my eye clockwise/counterclockwise was getting difficult. It was as if some sort of pressure was pressing down on my eye when rotating it. I can feel my extraocular muscles "tensing" up for some reason and I can't figure why.
I wen't to visit the ophthalmologist, but he said he couldn't tell anything wrong with my eye and gave me some Alrex (Bausch+Lomb) (loteprednol estabonate opthalmic suspension .2%). It says to use the eye drops 4 times a day, and still after using them all day yesterday, I woke up this morning and my eye feels worse.
The doctor said my vision did not change, my "eye pressure" is fine, and he can't see anything wrong with my eye. Yet the pressure around my eye keeps getting worse and I'm having a harder time rotating my eye. It doesn't hurt when just looking straight ahead, but when I rotate my eye, thats when I can feel the dull muscle tension of pain.
Any ideas what I can do to loosen up this tension?
