Nightly Crampin

I have constant issues in the last 3 months of constant cramps in my feet and calves. Again this is normally nightly and does not matter if i drink more or less water and take or eat potassium. I do workout regularly 4 times a week on ellipitical machine but this occurs even on rest days from working out. Any advice would be great

I've had leg and foot cramps off and on for many years (I'm 75 with several health issues including PAD and Diabetes) with no relief except to wait it out, so painfully.

Earlier this year I read another tip sheet that suggested drinking water, and that's what I've done on three occasions with stellar results all three times. I've gulped about 8 ounces or more until I could feel alleviation of the cramp, which has been much quicker than waiting it out. Hope it works the next time, too.

Perhaps it'll work for you. Good luck!

I read another tip sheet earlier in the year that said to try drinking water at the time of the cramp attack (they occur in bed at night for me), and gulping 8 or so ounces has alleviated the cramp(s) amazingly fast. Hope it continues to work.

I don't guess it would hurt you to try it and see what happens, but that's up to you, of course. If you do try it and it works, I'd love to hear about it. Good luck to you!
