Hi, I'm a newbie here. I really don't know where to begin. I've had Fibromalgia for over a year and I finally got my disability hearing set for June, 2011. I'm going to a pain management group and I'm more thankful and greatful everyday. I also have extreme depression because of the pain. My husband doesn't understand
the pain and I need some friends. I'm hoping to find some friends that have FM that I can share with. I feel so alone at times. I do look fine and I'm able to walk
my dog around our apt. complex with a great deal of pain. I'm on meds for it but it
never takes the pain completely away.

I'm new here too. Dx'd with FM almost a year ago but probably had it quite a bit longer (years...) Its fortunate you have a pain mangement group to go to. These on line forums can be really helpful to let you vent and compare notes. I'm wondering how you were able to get a disability hearing date for June this year, so fast ? Welcome to the online support world !
