I WAS NEWLY DIAGNOSED WITH FIBROMYALGIA BUT MY PAIN IS MORE OF A SORENESS WHEN I MOVE. LIKE I HAVE BEEN WORKING OUT REALLY HARD FOR DAYS. IS THAT SOME WHAT NORMAL FOR SOMEONE WITH FIBROMYALGIA OR IS IT MORE OF A STEADY ACHE WITH IT.

I have Fibro also the way I like to describe it is it feels like you have flu symptoms all the time when it acts up. And yes it also feels like at times you just done a jazzercise work out. I know I country line dance and at times my knees and legs are about to kill me at the end of the night. So I feel your pain :)

I had whiplash (neck/back/shoulder) after being rear ended twice in 2008 (three weeks apart). I was just recently diagnosed with Post Traumatic Fibromyalgia...... I feel sooo much better for the diagnosis - but also angry as chances are, this is as good as it's going to get. I feel like I take a million pills per day, it's only 6, but geesh - 35yrs old, 5'3", normally 115lbs (now 125 due to meds). I have always been extremely active and healthy. I now feel as if my body has aged 30 yrs over night. Just always feeling exhausted.... I do the things I love and in turn suffer for days to weeks after for doing it.... no more shoveling the driveway in winter for me... that one put me down flat for 3 days. I seem to have steady aches and pains that I've gotten "used" to, I've learned to deal with them (unfortunately) however, about every week to week and half I seem to have a flare up that last for up to two weeks.... I feel as if I have turned into a total bit** during these times. I have ZERO patience and am just flat out grumpy.
