    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Fibro Flare Ups

Hi, I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia for two years. I have recently moved back to Baton Rouge, LA and do not know of a good fibro doctor. Any suggestions? Also, do any of you suffer from what I call "body slam" days? I will get a severe headache, fever, chills, horrible pain and the only solution is to go to bed and sleep it off. This is in addition to my daily pain and exhaustion.

Yes, I have those days. I think going to sleep is our bodies way of coping with everything going on with it. All this pain is exhausting on us. I try to go to be at night thinking that maybe tomorrow will be a better less painful day and sometimes it is and sometimes it isn't. You have to put one foot in front of the other. I know it's hard.

Yes! Maybe not the exact same symptoms, but the same effect. I have been going through a flare for the last week because of the weather and have had three of these days in a row. So aggravating not being able to keep up the house and laundry. I am also anemic and I have to fight to get these things done normally, but with a flare they are impossible.
