So two months ago I was labeled with fibro. They started me on lyrica 50 mg once a day. that worked for a couple of days then it didn't. so he upped it to 50 twice a day. once again helped for awhile. then i went for my check up he upped it to 75 mg twice a day. two days later i was back in the office. My hands felt like they where swollen even though they weren't, I hadn't been able to sleep the night before because my pajamas hurt but then when i took off all my clothes the sheets and blanket drove me crazy. Tylonal doesn't work. An I can take motrin because I take lithium.
It drives me crazy because it seems like i have one or two good days and then Im back to the burning sensation in my scalp and my back and my neck. I pray and pray knowing that God will get me through this somehow and my parents are my support system. i don't know how i would have survived this past year without them. But I need people who understand what Im going through because I love them but they dont have it. My mom has diabetes so I do too. But this I feel like Im getting advice from people who are not actually living with it. So any advice is welcome. Thank you and God Bless

Here's why this might be helpful: Fibromyalgia specialist, Dr. Ginevra Liptan has stated in her book, Figuring Out Fibromyalgia; "medical science has not yet figured out how to turn off the switch of the stress response that gets stuck in the ON position in fibromyalgia. When we do that we will have found a cure."
