    Fibro and DES

    katmandulou posted:
I'm a DES daughter. My mother was given the artificial hormone DES while she was pregnant with me. It was billed as a vitamin that would "make a bad pregnancy good, and a good pregnancy better". It has been proven to cause many health problems, especially in women who were exposed in utero, causing infertility among other problems.

In reading all the data, I was wondering if DES exposure had any relationship to fibro. Thanks for taking my admittedly unscientific survey!

Where is the answer, "No"? My mom didn't take it and I didn't take it.

I included a "No, I'm not" but it doesn't seem to have gone through. Sorry!

Maybe there is a limit on how many you can put? I don't really know as I have not set up a poll myself.

    Interesting theory though.

Why is there no answer that just says "NO"??? Then, that is what I would have voted. I know what DES is.

One problem with poles here, besides the obvious slants on the answers available, is that one can log on the computer several times and vote over and over again.

Sorry, I didn't realize how old this poll was and that I had already responded.

    Not a DES...daughter

But I guess it can be linked to it. FIBRO is thrown around for many unexplained aliments, unexplained pain.
