TGIF*****(it is Friday? Right)....well...I hope so anyway....I have not been feeling well either....on medication and trying to give myself time....as we, FMers know....it does take a lot of time for us to do anything....and sometimes this is hard to do...

So...I know others are having major issues....sickness is not an easy thing for any of us to deal with....I do hope each of you are feeling some better and that your recovery will be short.....until you are up and back to feeling better...and of course I hope everyone will remember all of the service men and women who have given so much to our country...this is actually what memorial day is about....and so many have given so much...
And we should also remember their families as well who endure so much also...it is sad when our men and women return and are injured which make affects their entire lives of many....

Welcome to the new members also....each Friday we do have what we call Roll Call....just a way that those of you who can not always post during the week....hopefully will take the time to play catch up with us on Friday....stop by and tell us what you care others to know about you..

I do want to remind each and every one to be sure and ask your doctor to check your Vitamin D level...which is so very important to a lot of people these days....low Vitamin D can cause some of us to have additional pain and it can also affect other illnesses as well (according to the medical research that has been done on it)...

I would encourage new members to also check out all of the info here on Web MD....there is a vast knowledge of information on FM and other illnesses as well...

Here is hoping that each of you have a great Friday and a Super Week-end...

GOD BLESS OUR SERVICEMEN AND WOMEN AND THEIR FAMILIES....

Good morning! Happy Friday!

Mimi, I'm so sorry that you're not feeling well. Hopefully, you'll start to feel better soon.

Really looking forward to the long 3-day weekend. Tomorrow my youngest nephew graduates from high school. After the graduation, the family is going out for dinner.

This evening I need to do a little grocery shopping and gift shopping. Celebrating a friend's bday on Sunday and I still have to buy a gift. Sometimes I really struggle when it comes to getting someone a bday or Christmas gift. That reminds me ... Father's Day is not that far away. My Dad is impossible to buy gifts for.

Didn't sleep very well last night. Woke up several times and could feel that certain muscles were all tensed up and not relaxed.

Wishing everyone a great Friday and weekend! Here's to feeling better - and good sleep!

Good morning Fmily,

The fever broke yesterday afternoon. whew! I still sweat so easily. Bad cough and congestion but treating it. Man that knocked my legs from me.

The bone pain at 102* was something i don't like feeling. We are used to the myalgia we live with, and I had to laugh at the doc (clueless)...before the 102* you were not feeling ill? Doing your normal things......man we work and live in a flu like state. I who would ever know!

Needless to say, on the mend. Keeping to myself for the holiday weekend, I need not to share or catch anything. I have little energy too.

DH is doing better then me but still has a wheeze at night. Haven't been able to calm his lungs completely. He says it all came from a chill at a wedding we attended. I find it so hard to take the chill theory as a cause and not a germ theory as the issue. A BIG GERM at that.

I lost a week at work and probably the timebank to have my legs operated on in the fall. POO...We will see.

I am happy for you Sharon that you showered, but I will yell at you....SHOWERING IS THE NUMBER ONE PLACE TO BREAK A HIP! You really took a chance. I didn't shower until last night when the fever broke and I can feel* you disgust somewhat......but a spotter for sure should have been there. If anything had happened...you would have laid there waiting, in pain and if a vessel was ruptured....bleeding!

Dang we are such stubborn souls..............glad it worked out OK.

Mimi I caught somethingabout a stone, I hope it has passed.

More then this, I have to stop. Sweating sitting here (in A/C) just so weak.........................Hugs to all. day by Day. Nancy B

Hello Nana B.....I sure hope you will continue to improve...and get better soon...

I also have issues with knowing what symptoms that are *new*....the questions that the doctor asks can be just normal everyday aches and pains for me....

I am having major lower back issues (left side) and I have a UTI....but the doctor said I might also have kidney stones (again)....I have had them before...

Anyway...I woke up really sick to my stomach on Wednesday and decided I should go to the doctor about this...

I hate being sicker with something else to deal with...

Take care and again prayers and thoughts are with you.

TGIF - A quick hello before the long weekend!

First - may all those in harm's way not be remembered on this day in the future. And may all those who have given their all be remembered in the finest way possible. God Bless the USA and all who who wear her uniforms!

It's warm and cloudy today, 70s and it might rain. I took a yoga class this morning, then off to visit Mom and check in on Dad.

Tomorrow is the Memorial Day Parade in town. My client again donated 500 small flags to be distributed by the downtown association FREE. He hate when the (what he calls) c?@p sellers come in, feel things that have nothing to do with the event (Dora, for Memorial Day??), and leave their trash on the side streets. Last year the local Elks hall did the same. It's fun to give them out.

I'll be carrying a banner in the parade, as I was appointed to my town's 125th anniversary committee. The chairman will be on the other end of the banner, and we'll have the 10-year-old girl who designed the logo for our festivities. I can't wait to meet her!

DH and I have no other plans for the weekend, but you know that ice cream will be a feature. I've lost 15lbs since Valentine's Day, but one day of eating silly can;t undo what I've taken off, Another 15 to go, then it'll be time for my class reunion!

I wish you all the best weekend you can possibly have!

Just checking in one last time before we head out the door. My DH called early to let me know she had to stay @ her school a bit longer so we can't pick her and DGS up until 3 so it will be a long night of driving. UGH

MiMI, so sorry to hear you are not feeling well. I hope you begin to feel better very quickly and are able to enjoy the long holiday weekend.

Lou, OT but wanted to let you know my tummy doctor has not sent in a medication that won't cause any of the terrible side effects. I haven't picked it up yet so don't have a name, but you can bet your bottom dollar I'm going be asking questions like crazy about side effects. I know I need help getting over this really bad and painful bout of IBS but not at the risk of my heart and health to do it.

Angelswife.. I hope you are up and more mobile now.. I think of you everyday when out of doors and say to myself I hope Sharon gets out to enjoy the warm temps and beautiful days ahead.

Okay, will pick this post up on Wed. My best to each of you.
Have a great weekend and feel well.. okay?
Gentle hugs, Linda R

Just checking in here..

Mimi..so sorry to hear you are dealing with something..like stones..ugh..

Nancy..glad you are on the mend.

Lou..your event sounds fun..enjoy the ice cream..sounds like a perfect day !

Linda..hope your trip goes well...enjoy..I am sure you will..hope you feel ok..

Hard to believe it is Memorial Day here...cold and overcast all day..no plans for the weekend. The good news is that DS got a new job and it is at a really good place..hopefully! He is very excited..so that is nice. Now if we could just find something for DH! I am still struggling with my gallbladder. I was looking up folk remedies and tried one...sort of helped...a very little. there was another Chinese cure..that involved several days...and people on the website said it worked..but I doubt I will try it..and will instead just go with surgery..All this is making me tired..

hope you all enjoy your weekend.

Fairly new member. Been having a very difficult week emotionally - this coming Sunday would have been my 17th wedding anniversary and next month is the 1 yr anniversary of my husband's death. Physically - gallbladder problems are complicating everything and frankly I'm spending a lot of time laying on the sofa and napping. Very little energy for anything. Today more energy and I tried to catch up, which I know better not to do but of course I did it anyway and now I'm paying for it. Tired but can't sleep and aching everywhere. Live and learn I guess... keeping a low profile this weekend and trying to not get feeling overwhelmed or unhinged!
