Hello FMily.....MiMi in NC...I guess my post when into internet space...never to be found again....perhaps this is a sign for me....as I was sharing how my Saturday went....which was not a good thing...we went down to help my older son put together his bed....the furniture store had delivered it late in the afternoon...got there and took pieces out of the box...no screws ....REALLY??? OMG...I was not a happy camper...but no means...

I spoke to the lady at the store about it...although this came from the warehouse...(not my problem though regardless)...I was told where I could go and pick these up...(I had already been to this store one time)...so needless to say....again...I am not happy...

DH took me there and I went into the store and got the small bag which had been left for me...DH thought that we had better check the package to make sure it was what we needed....I knew there should be at least 8 anchor type screws and some wood screws for the rail braces...opened it up and there were 3 of one size (too small) and 4 of another length...(which might work)...ok...anyway you look at this...there is no way that this equals 8....still do not know why someone who works with furniture would not know this...

Anyway...I took the bag and went back into the store..and this time...well...it was not a good scene...Now when we go again on Monday....it will make about 250 miles that we have done....just to help get this together...one would think that people would somehow realize that customers need *everything* which goes with the piece of furniture in order to put it together...

I was on a roll to begin with Saturday...and it went down fast...

I *crossed my line* and did too much...and when it was bedtime....I was ready...and then the furbabies woke me up entirely too early this morning....I woke up sick to my stomach again....and I have only 1 pill left...I guess this infection is not cleared up yet...

Here is hoping each of you had a better Saturday...and I hope today will be a good day for all of us....enjoy the sunshine, if you have a chance....it is hot...really hot here...

That doesn't sound fun at all. I had a few run-ins with furniture sales places. I had an extended warranty that they tell you will cover anything and everything, but then if you try to use it there was a bunch of limitations, lots of phone calls, and waiting to get a repair done. It was the day I quit wasting money on extended warranties. You pay ahead for something that may not ever happen.

I aslo remember furniture and such used to come with extra hardware. Now a days your lucky if all the parts are there. I feel your frustration.

Today is wet cold and windy. I have been taking it easy and doing a few things done around the house. For some reason my arms are getting sore again. The connecting points for the ligaments in my elbows are very tender like before. Yay! I will do the stretching the PT gave me. I still have a bill for $450 after insurance paid for that.

Aside from that I am trying to concentrate on my schoolwork again. I am over the halfway hump and have until Feb. to finish it on time. Despite having other responsibilies I think I can do it. Most of it is logical mechanical thinking, I do well with that. The only thing that slows me down is complex aglebra equasions. I hate those things. I'm good at math until you pile a bunch of letters in it.

I hope you all have a great day. Those who are fighting off a virus, take extra good care of yourself today. Drink lots of water and get lots of rest. Take care everyone.

Cory
