Morning FMily....May is about over....MiMi in NC...where we are suppose to get rain today...as the storm moves in on the coast.
Had just a few showers yesterday...not much at all...I think it is going to get much worse today...

I ended up back at the doctor's office...and as it turns out...really did not have a UTI...in fact, I am not sure they know what is going on with me...put me on 2 different kinds of medicine now...the doctor did say she thought what I had was FM related...I often wonder why doctors feel a urge to treat a patient for something they do not have....perhaps being on the caution side...I have no idea..

Here is hoping everyone will remember Cece today...as she goes in for gallbladder surgery...and I hope those of you who have not been feeling well will soon be feeling better...I saw that angelswife posted yesterday...Recovering from health issues can really be a very long ordeal for us FMers...as I have been there done that many times...and I know just how one can feel...like it is never going to get better...hang in there though and hopefully soon it will be for all of us...

Welcome to the new members who have joined our unique FM support group...I am sure each of you will soon find something that will help you cope better...it is a process of whatever you decide to try....but there are a lot of good tools and tips here that will help you find something or a combination of things that will help you cope better each and every day...you should also remember though that what helps one FMers may or may not help you...we are all different creatures and there is no one magic pill that works for anyone...(we can all wish though)

Vitamin D....I provided another link this morning for Vitamin D...it is interesting that medical researchers must still be finding out things about just how important Vitamin D can be for all of us...so be sure and talk to your doctor about getting your Vitamin D level checked...

That's my take for today....here is hoping each of you will have a good day...enjoy the sunshine, if you are lucky to have some..

Morning to all the Fmily,

I pray Cece that this goes well and you feel so much better. Took 3 days before I could take a deep breath...ouch. BUT so much better with the attacks of pain. You will be on my mind all day!.
HUGS to you..........

Mimi, amazing how we are so hard to figure out. Hoping the meds were right on and you feel better. I went to the ER for back pain thinking it was a stone and it was the dragon involving a precious muscle in my back I wasn't used to speaking! OUCH....chose toradol to relieve it. We are so unlucky with this mess.

I just hope you feel better soon. You have alot going on at the house and need to be your best.

The weather has been to H-H-H for anything to get accomplished. I am still so weak. I here now my grandchildren are both sick 102-103 fevers..it is ear infections. First the baby and now Olivia. So sad to have children ill.

Well, I have trimmed the project list to barely anything as I am so weak. I have baking for the wedding shower this weekend.I am making cookie trays for the tables. So off I will go to bake.

Have a good day today guys, try and find the sunshine.....get your attitudes straight and don't give one more inch to this beast we fight with. Be good........................Nancy B

Hi Mimi!
Cece---I hope the surgery goes well and you are quickly on the mend...Nancy---I'm glad you're feeling better and sorry the grandchildren are sick. Not fun!

It's supposed to get less humid this afternoon, and I'm glad. The swelling in my lower leg has been such an issue since it got so sticky out. I had one day a week and a half ago where the cast actually felt loose and I was able to sleep comfortably. Then the humidity kicked in and UGH. I have had no good days swelling-wise since then. My cast feels so tight it wakes me up at night, and I've had to up the Percocet to keep the swelling under control. It's going to feel so good when the doc cuts this cast off tomorrow! Maybe my leg will be able to breathe for a minute before the next one goes on.

I am going tomorrow to see if I've healed enough for a walking cast. I am having my doubts since it's only been six weeks since I got hurt and there is so much that needs to heal. But I'm keeping my fingers crossed anyway. Worst case scenario it will be another two weeks before I can put any weight on it. It's been a long, challenging road.

The good news is, the guy came and built the step in front of our door, and he made it wide enough for the walker. Now at least I can go out and sit on the deck. Being able to get outside makes the rest of this easier to take.

That said, I have to go put my leg up. This @#$%&!! swelling is driving me crazy!! Hope everyone has a good day.

Good eve,
It looked like rain all day but it never materialized. The sun peeked out for a few minutes here and there this afternoon. I took advantage of that and mowed the lawn. Just a couple nights ago it got down in the 30's and I had to fire the furnace up again.

I wrote to an old friend in WA. last night so I missed checking in yesterday. He is a very interresting person. It's always good to see how he is doing and what he is up to.

My knees have been driving me crazy for about 2 weeks now, I recently bought new work boots and thought it would ease it some. My old ones were at least 2 years old and had countless miles on them. I don't know what the cause is. As you all experience, it's always something. It would be nice to have a day off from my issues. It's been a while since I have had one.

My thoughts go out to you guys tonight. You have a lot to deal with lately. I pray it gets better for you all soon.

Cory
