Morning FMily.....MiMi in NC...where it is going to be a day with lots of sunshine....(I think)....it was interesting that I thought we were going to get a lot of rain from the storm which supposedly was headed toward NC Coast...we only got just a few showers along the way...nothing like I thought we would get...

I am still having issues....on 2 medications which are not doing anything to help....I do not think they have found my problem yet and it worries me...as I hate to have any sort of back pain...

Here is hoping others who are also dealing with health issues are doing better....Cece I hope your surgery went well..and angelswife I hope you will continue to improve...as we all know anything that we must deal with takes time and effort....whether we like it or not...

Welcome to the new members who have joined our unique FM support group recently...I am sure that soon each of you will find a good combination of *tools and tips* that will help you manage and control the wrath of the dragon better...

Vitamin D....I continue to promote this issue....talk to your doctor about getting your Vitamin D level checked...so important for a lot of people these days...low Vitamin D can cause additional pain and it can also affect other illnesses as well...

Have a good day and enjoy the sunshine...

Morning Mimi.....
How about a hot pak and laying on the floor and do some pelvic tilts to stretch that lower back......I have such an issue at times with that lateral muscle that passes the kidney area. Unable to turn laterally at times. (a weak spot for me) Doing the tilts helps stretch it out.

I do em in bed.....or on the floor. I have even done em standing against a wall and tilted the pelvis forward. Google the *art* of this. What can trying do?

Warm the muscle first.

56* here right now, I have the doors open and windows started.....YES, I need a spirit day. I am still sick dang it! It is turning in to a sinus infection, I can feel it and the mucus has turned yellow. CRAP! I will let the doc know tomorrow, one more day to prove it is in there.

Have little strength to do anything so *anything* IS NOT getting done. How fast you can change your priorities. It is what it is.
I will try and move a bit today, but slow is the mantra for this week. Vacation is a bust, it is all rest.

Cece did well...I saw it on FB. So great to have multiple connections to people. Heard 3 hours of recovery and no post op pain when leaving......a miracle she is!

OK, may the sun be on your backs today. I am looking forward to being in the sun today and listening to nature in the yard.
Small steps forward to get a thing or two done. But slow is major.

Hugs to all (((((( )))))))), Nancy B

Good Morning Everyone
Rainy, damp, and chilly in Chicago. Quite a difference from the 97 we had a few days ago.
I hope everyone feels better. And recovers quickly.
Slowing down a bit now, too hectic the past week, and now I am paying for it. Gonna curl up with my Kindle and take it easy.
May we all have a nice pain free and pleasant day.

Good morning Mimi, Nancy B, KathG and all to follow!

As KathG mentioned - a chilly, rainy day here in the Chicago area/ No. IL. Quite a contrast to the weather over the past holiday weekend! I knew the weather change was coming in bed last night when my hip was bothering me! Didn't sleep well. Hoping for better sleep tonight.

I've had a couple of busy days and over did it a bit. I'm very glad I have no plans this evening so that I rest, relax, read and maybe do a little crocheting this evening.

Mimi, hope your back feels better soon! I think Nancy's suggestions of some stretches and a hot pack are worth trying.

Nancy, sorry about the sinus infection!

KathG, enjoy your reading today! Sounds wonderful - unfortunately I've got to work today, but I'll be doing some reading this evening.

Wishing everyone a comfortable day with little or no pain - and good sleep tonight!

Today is a nice sunny day. I hope to get out for our walk tonight. It was the last day of school for my 2 boys. The oldest is going into 6th grade and moving to the high school next year.

My butt has been dragging this week, and knees feel shot, but things in general are good. I'm waiting for my RH appt. at the end of the month. I think I have my wife in the right place about it now. A big win. I have to call the clinic and make sure they send all my record to the new Dr, I haven't seen her before but she treats Fibro. I am hoping to get an answer to so I can better treat it, weather it's the Dragon or not.

I felt like the old man on the block today. I live across the street from the elementarty/middle school. A kid down the street is a little to reckless. He was ripping down a sidwaalk with blind driveways on his motorcycle. It was the second time I caught him so I called it in. The police department is only a block away. He has no brains. I had flashes of him running some poor kid or one of the elderly on my block down with the dang thing. They were promtly at the door to warn him because when he does these things, he is quick to hide. They never catch him doing it.

That is all for now, Mimi, I feel for you. Back pain is the worst. Glad to hear Cece is doing well. Angelswife, sounds like you are slowly getting better. I hope it speeds up for you. Nancy, I hope the crud goes away quick. To the rest of you, take care, try not to overdo it as we all seem to so often.

Cory
