Hey everyone!

I am back..but with a different problem...As anyone experince DDD?
I am getting an MRI done on my lower back suspecting a pinch nerve (narrowing of the L4 and L5. But today I starting having numbness in my neck and shoulders and around my ears...what should I do? I can still walk (with a limp to the left leg)...and I still can go the bathroom.

I am a little worried and don't know if I need to tell the doctor instead of a MRI to the lower back can I change and get one of the entire back?

Hey Bookangel, I'm sorry to hear that you are in so much pain. I can relate, because I had DDD about 15 years ago. I was in a lot of pain when I turned my head or moved it too fast. Mine was in the upper part of my spine, the back of my neck. I went through physical therapy, but to no avail. I eventually had to have surgery. They removed a piece of my hip bone and used it to replace the worn out bone in my neck. I actually did well after my surgery, and healed quickly. I suppose the doctor knows where the degeneration is, but you should tell him about the pain in your neck and shoulders.

It's now two days later... how are you doing? Did you get the MRI?
