I had a busy week-end....tried not to overdo...which seems to be a BIG problem for me...sometimes, just the simple things causes me to cross the line....do not understand this...was hoping that I could do a few things without pushing myself...
Hope each of you had a good week-end...and I hope those of you who are also having extra health issues are recovering nicely....I go this week to see if someone can figure out what is going on with me...I have taken the medicine this past week..and actually did not see a difference...not a good thing..
Welcome to the new members who have joined our unique FM support group recently....I am sure that soon each of you will find something that will help you cope better...there are no quick fixes though....it does take a trial and error process which does take time and effort...a person should allow at least 6-8 weeks of whatever they are trying before deciding IF indeed what they are doing is really helping them...(of course this is only if you are not getting sicker)..
Be sure and check out the info under "tips" and "resources"...I am sure you will find something that perhaps you have not thought to try....we, FMers, have put our heads together, along with Dr. P and Dr. Margaret...(see the top right hand corner for more info on them)....and we have some very interesting *tools and tips" to try...
Vitamin D....(my favorite subject)....be sure and ask your doctor to check your Vitamin D level....low Vitamin D can cause some people to have additional pain....
That's my story and I'm sticking to it on this Monday in June..
Have a great low/no pain day.

I'm sorry you're not feeling better. I hope it clears up for you soon.
It's gray and unsettled here. It's going to be like that for the entire week! I'm glad I got outside on the deck yesterday, because I'm not sure when I'll be able to do it again. It's only 54 out and won't get any warmer. I actually have the little heater going in the bedroom because the house is pretty chilly this morning.
I am having a gray day too, but working at staying positive. Today time is dragging, and even crocheting has temporarily lost its appeal. I REALLY want to be outside working in a garden! Since I can't, though, I will have to put my headphones on, close my eyes, and imagine myself there. I think the only sunshine I see this week will be coming from my own head. Too bad I can't get a tan that way, lol.
I am hurting some because of the weather...I think I will do some crocheting even though I don't feel like it. That usually cheers me up when I'm in a blue mood. Hope everyone has a good day!

Not a very good night of sleep for me last night - woke up several times and couldn't get back to sleep right away. Needless to say, really dragging today! Hoping for better sleep tonight!
Mimi, so sorry you're not feeling better - I hope that changes soon - and even before your Dr visit this week! No fun, not feeling well!
angelswife, here's hoping the sunshine will break through outside at least for a little while today! When it's cold and gray, it's easy to be in a blue mood. If you can't be outside, inside with some good music and crocheting sounds like fun.
We're having some beautiful weather here in No. IL - 70s and sunny! My kind of weather!
Wishing everyone a day with little or no pain - and good sleep tonight!
It's cold and rainy here, in the 50s or so they've said.
I'm feeling crummy. One of our neighbors had a huge party yesterday, and they have the right to have a party until the music gets too loud. DH went over at 8pm and asked them to turn it down. I didn't want to whine and held it in, but someone kept turning it up. By 10:30, I was at wits end. The neighbors stopped answering their door. DH called the police, and within 10 minutes the noise was gone. I feel like I've been wrung out, my head still hurts, my back aches. This neighbor has a son who n vandalized my car a couple of years ago with paintball, and told me "no it's not my boy" when I saw him with the paint ball gun!
Thanks for letting me get that off my chest.
Not much will get done here today. Maybe some knitting; I started a new shell yesterday, before my head started pounding. I made a ton of notes to make minor changes to it - and lost my notes!
I was going to look for a part-time retail job today, but I'll think about that for tomorrow.
I hope you all have the best day you can possibly have,Lou
It is a overcast morning here..hopefully the sun will come out before too long..
I am still recovering from the gallbladder surgery. Sometimes I think it is getting better..other times..not so much. I just wish I knew this was all "normal"...I get so "sick"...hard to describe..when I try to eat anything..I am trying to just take acetaminophen today and go to work...it is just three hours and shouldn't be too taxing..
Angelswife...hang in there...stay warm ...I hope the sun comes out soon and you will be recovered enough to get out..
cece
It will get better....just be careful and allow yourself plenty of rest....
Take care and good luck...

I know that with my elbow surgery...I thought I would never heal...it took over 2 years for it to completely heal...the neurosurgeon told me that it would take around 2 years...I thought he was joking......nope...he was serious....
I hope you try to stay positive....that is the name of the *game*....if you care to call it this...(not a fun one at that either)...
Listen to some good music and try to rest...
So glad to see you posting again....missed you.

Well hubby was a way for couple days. I usually just put some wood in the wood stove to take the chill off. I don't want to turn on the heat again. It is off for the season! Well my husband left plenty of wood on the back porch, however was not cut down enough to fit in the stove. So I had to cut into smaller pieces. And the Wonder Woman I think I am still, got out the Saws All to cut the wood. Wow does that thing viberate!
So it took a bit out of me. When will I learn?Soft hugs to all. Hope all feel better soon and enjoy the day!

Today was also the first day of summer school, in a school without airconditioning
I have 15 students from Kindergarten to 6th grade all with some form of Autism. lukly, I have 10 aides to help out, and it is only 4 days a week and 4 hours a day. If I can make it this summer I will probably stick with Special Education and have an autism class. I hope things cool out here so I can sleep better tonight, I need the energy for school again tomorrow.
Gental hugs to all.
I felt pretty good this morning despite a restless night. I had y window oped and the sirens went crazy at 1:30am. Our little town has no traffic at that hour, so I don't know why they had them blaring.
Work was interresting. I was able to dig in and get my hands dirty. We had to change 4 big semi truck style wheels with solid rubber tires on a wierd machine form Slovania. It took the better paet of the day because of how they are iin there. I am spent, but it felt good to accomplish something not on a computer.
It has gone from warm and sunny to cool and rainy several times today finally ending on the cool rainy side.
I have 4 more wild kittens to catch and one wild momma cat. Time to plan it out.
Take care everyone,
Cory
