Morning FMily.....MiMi in NC...where it is going to be in the 80's for several days....without any rain....OMG...I do think we have had enough for a while...

Here is hoping each of you had a good night's rest..and I hope that today will be a good day for all of us...I woke up around 12 last night and thought I was going to be really sick...I did not know what was going on but I was having major pains in my stomach...it finally eased off though and I was able to go back to sleep..I was really thankful for this. Still having issues..and I do not have a clue about them...there are times though that my pain about takes my breath away....I do hope that at the end of the month I will know more.

Noah is having a good time at the beach...he is such a sweet heart...I talked to him last night and he told me that he likes to ocean...he loves to swim anyway....he can be cold with blue lips and he does not want to get out of the water...this reminds me of his daddy when he was little and just how much he loved the water.

I am keeping Alec for a while this morning...he is a good little boy for MiMi....he is so sweet when I keep him...and has always been...I hope had one issue with him one time...he was repeating everything I said...I told him if he did not stop I was going to put him upside down....and I did...so this phase did not last long...it is funny just how children will try things...

Cece...I hope that you get the job...hang in there I am sure if this does not work out...something else will. I am sure you would make a good teacher...

I hope those of you who have been dealing with other health issues as well will soon recover and be back to what we consider *normal*....

Welcome to the new members who have joined our unique FM support group....I am sure that each of you will soon find something that will help you cope better...it does take a process....a trial and error process to find what might work for each of us...there are no quick fixes that I am aware of and what works for one may or may not work for another...

Some not too good news about Vitamin D....http://www.everydayhealth.com/womens-health/0613/task-force-says-no-to-vitamin-d-calcium-for-older-women.aspx?xid=aol_eh-women_4_20120611_&aolcat=HLT&icid=maing-grid7%7Cmain5%7Cdl12%7Csec3_lnk1%26pLid%3D169632

The link is provided for you to view...I will say though....I am not sure about this...it is odd that the researchers continue to change what might be good and what might not be good for people...this is always been the case though...as they use to say aspirin was a good thing and then this changed over the years several times...kind of like the food we eat...and I am not quite sure that anything is really *good* for us...but we certainly can not survive without it..

Here is hoping every one will have a good day with lots of sunshine...

That's my story and I'm sticking to it....

Good Thursday to each and everyone. I hope your day is going well and that you will have few, if any, fibro issues or pain to deal with today.

This will be a short post as I have to be out the door, again, for an early a.m. doctor appointment. I keep telling myself that I need to make these things later in the morning but always take the first thing these receptionists offer.

CeCe, I know this teaching position would be a perfect fit for you. So I've got my fingers crossed that this job comes thru. And as MiMi said: if not this one, the next one for sure.

And MiMi, sorry you had an early morning wake up call with stomach issues. I sure wish you had some idea of what was causing the problems so you could get treatment for it. Here's wishing you a good day with no stomach issue while you watch Alec.

It's nice here today, sunny and warm and it will be like this for a few more days It was really nice yesterday as I drove around doing errands and keeping appointments. I am going to enjoy being out again today so it should be nice again as well.

I have an early a.m. appointment with my new foot doctor and then it's right over to the clinic to get an ultra sound done of my kidney's and bladder. Also some blood work. This is a once a year thing just to make sure everything is okay and that I have no issues to deal with. I don't like giving the blood tho. I am getting rechecked for diabetes because my urologist thinks the first test should have been done with me fasting.. and it wasn't. Doctor also wants to make sure that when I fell a few weeks ago and hit my left side under the rib cage that I didn't hurt anything, so a good thing to get the tests done.

After our doctor appointments DH and I are heading up to the Pro Bass store in the Opry Mills Mall, Nashville. I promised DH a new fishing rod for Father's Day. So I want to get up there and get one for him before all the other Father Day shopper's deplete the shelves because of the sale ads for Father's Day idea fishing rods this week.

Then its on to see our oldest daughter and have dinner with her and her family. It's her birthday today and we invited her out to the restaurant of her choice for a meal to celebrate her special day. I wonder so often where these years have gone to as they have passed so quickly. My youngest is 30 and the oldest is 34 today. I wouldn't want all those years back, but wish now that they had gone a bit more slowly so I could enjoy them a bit more.

Okay, I'm off line here, wishing each of you a good day.
Gentle hugs out to all, Linda R

Good afternoon! Happy Thursday - the weekend is not too far away!

Not very good sleep the past couple of nights - hoping tonight will be different.

Unfortunately, the weather this weekend is going to be 90 and humid. Would rather have the 70s and dry we had the past couple of day. Most likely will spend a lot of time in the air conditioned house this weekend.

My Dad is 80 and is impossible to buy gifts for - so for Father's Day I'm making dinner for him and his "lady friend" (that's what he calls her).

Mimi, I am so sorry your stomach issues continue! Yes, let's hope the next visit to the Dr will provide some answers and treatment!

LindaR, enjoy celebrating your daughter's birthday today!

Wishing everyone a little or no pain day - and good sleep tonight!

PS. to earlier post: Linda R here and I got all the appointments done. The foot doctor was very nice and I was in and out of there quickly. The blood work @ the clinic was the worst as the girl taking the blood missed the vain twice in one arm and once in the other The Ultra sound was fast but I spent an hour waiting to be called for the testing. UGH. and I think I may have kidney issues from the fall after all.

Got DH up to Pro Bass and he picked out a new rod, which was on sale for 35 dollars less and a really nice pair of sunglasses, also on sale, so did the Father's Day gift for just under 100 dollars. Should have been nearer 150.00. YEAH me!

Now it's onto DD's house for a Susi dinner out for DD's birthday. I hate days like this where I have to travel so far. So far 130 miles have been driven and 120 more round trip before the day is done. Living in the country really racks up the miles.

Gentle hugs to all. Linda R.

Good evening everyone,

We had a ton of rain this morning into early afternoon. it was kind enough to ley up after work so I could load some siding at work. I think I have a good flair starting up. My knees were on fire as soon as I went outside after work. I came home and took it fairly easy, just paced through the chores and made a simple dinner.

No Jeeping this weekend, I am the president of our little club. Our forum showed too little interrest in the run this time around. The offroad park is about 130 miles round trip. At 15 MPG plus needing to replace my expired park sticker, I just don't have enough in the play money fund this week. Maybee next weekend.

We will be together as a family though this weekend and that's all I need to enjoy it. We will probably fire up the grill and light the fire pit.

I wish you all nothing but the best, sleep well and take care,

Cory
