Yes it sure is real. I've had bad fibro since I was 28 and I'm now 67. I also have copd and disks in my back that have no cartlidge in between them and also pinched nerves and torn miniscus in my knee caps but I just keep going every day. I've been on every strong narcotic there is, now on 100 mg. demerol 4 x's a day, not helping the pain either.

Tried taking lyrica, it didn't help and made my feet and legs swell. I'm glad that now medical Dr's are acknowledging that
fibro is real and just not in your head. I'm going to ask my Dr
about savella, it's not been out long and is for fibro.
