Good morning

I'll be busy today, too. I'm going to head across town to the thrift store so I can look for some exercise pants. It hurts too much to wear most of my non-denim capris (no jeans allowed in the gym). I'm wearing my loosest pair, but I'm going to need to change as soon as I get home.

I'd better get off here. I need to get a few things done before I leave and the thrift store opens in 40 minutes. If I don't make it back here, I hope you're all having a great Friday

Hi, Mimi and all to follow! TGIF!!!

Each night I keep hoping for a good night of sleep - but that has been rare this week. Last night the pain in my right hip kept waking me up.

Really glad I don't have much planned for the weekend - I plan to relax and enjoy watching the olympics.

Wishing everyone a great Friday and weekend with no or little pain - and good sleep!

Good Morning-
Already at work, day starts at 4am...
Can't wait to get home and to my heating pad, my trusted friend. Daughter has already texted to tell me that my cat is crying for me already...she will be waiting by the door when I get home.
Not much planned for the weekend, just relaxing, and watching the Olympics. Working on a purse for my daughter and have another order for a scarf/hood that is for the end of the month. The kids have the housework all done and I did the grocery shopping last night.
Waiting till 4:30...
Have a great day,
Sharon

Good afternoon.....told you I would be back...MiMi in NC....as I said when I first posted this morning I woke up early this morning and I was not a happy camper...do not know exactly what woke me up...but soon the furbabies decided it was time for them to go outside for a potty break. I let them out and then went back to sleep...or at least I tried....as I had finally gotten to sleep, the telephone ran....OMG...so I guess it was not meant for me to get another nap...my daughter also called and we talked for a while until I had to get going...

Both furbabies had an appointment for shots...I think I made the appointment much too early...anyway...what a time that turned out to be...CoCo had to get several shots and he was not happy to begin with...Sassy had to get a couple things done...and then we headed back...it was not a good day for them at all. We have decided to give CoCo something that might help him calm down a bit...I guess we will soon know whether or not it will work...

DH and our younger son worked on the tree house/gym for a couple of days...they got one part of it done but the 2nd part will be done later. I am sure when Noah comes home he will be so excited when he sees this. It is wooded and has a slide and a look out...it will soon have climbing rocks too, swings and a 2 seater...I am sure Alec and Noah will have a fun time on this..

Welcome to the new members who have joined our unique FM support group....I am sure that soon each of you will feel right at home here and you will find some good info on tools that hopefully will make life a bit easier...there are no quick fixes...so hang in here..learn all you can and continue to try things until you find something that works...you should allow at least 6-8 weeks of whatever you do to see if indeed you can *feel* a difference.

Vitamin D...so important for a lot of people these days...check with your doctor about getting the test done to see if your level is low....low Vitamin D can cause additional pain for some of us...and it can also affect other illnesses as well.

Here is hoping everyone will have a good week-end with little or no pain..

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Happy Friday! I had a good week! I saw the ortho doctor about my bad knee. He thinks I have a torn tendon. He will know more when I can get a MRI. Due to money problems the MRI will have to wait for awhile. He did give me a cortisone shot which has made my knee feel wonderful! I can walk with no pain now. I do not know how long the shot will be affective, I am just grateful it is working for now.

We got some rain and a little bit cooler weather. It was in the mid 90's instead of in the 100's. My DH has to work tomorrow. I will have the house to my self and total control of the tv remote control! I can,t wait!

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. Soft hugs to all!

Debbie

cece, meant to post U a question a few weeks ago, so here goes: when does your school system start back and did you get that job with your school district you had applied for?

The schools are back up and running here now. Yesterday was the start of our state's 3 day tax free weekend. We get 2 weekends a year where we pay nothing on clothes, shoes, elec things and all school supplies. Nice.

Sorry you are still dealing with so much.. wishing you a relaxed weekend where you can catch up.. Love and hugs, Linda R.

School is back in session there??? seriously??? not here..we go back about the 20th..and that seems early. When my kids were little it was always the day after labor day..

No..didn't get the job..so will be doing the same thing I did last year...just three hours per day...and VERY boring...and no benefits...so I will keep on looking around..Still no job in the horizon for DH either...nobody wants old people !
