I am sorry there is not. There is all the ruling out of the other illnesses that are like FM, such as Rheumatiod arthritis....Lupus. Diseases that show in the immune system.

We still are in a gap, going by ruling out and the physical exam and history is what gives you this label.

Being "not right" and not having a label can be overwhelming and make it so much harder to deal with.....so I hope they get an answer for you as just being told something can be validating and help you move forward.

I will suggest you become as educated as you can in this, (If this is what you have) knowledge is an amazing thing. There is alot in resources to the right and up under Dr.P in discussions to look through to see if things fit for you, and what we do to help ourselves.

Good luck, Nancy B

I didn't think so but thought I'd check if I missed something. I was diagnosed w/Celiac Disease Jan. 4, 2011. Even with eating gluten free & know of a lot of other food intolances I'm still having issues. I have all but approx. 3 symptoms of the Fibro. which is why I feel I have it & had had it in various degrees for yrs.. I just had blood work done Friday & as soon as I review it will see my Dr.. I just don't want to have to take a medication for it.

Thanks Nancy
