The wedding is over.......

Good morning Fmily,

The wedding is over the celebrations wrapped up...yesterday was semi-cancelled as the storms across Ohio came and blew me away and heavy rain and thunder. So no big open house BarBQ.

I had 20 people IN the house.

Everything was magical and went well, no nerves and no frustrations......I increased my savella to 25mg each morning to get through and did well.

Last night though I have to say...as soon as the last guest left, I crumbled. My back went and then it gave me RLS and the bladder was all irritated and pressure to the pelvis. I couldn't stand anymore....

Eating out for 4 nights has bothered the gluten issues, though they do try...the kitchen are contaminated....so I have excema on my face in about 5 spots....need to keep using the cortisone.

Took my meds early and in bed by 9:30.....I was up 3 times during the night with pain and unsettled muscles. IT is amazing how strong distraction and mind set for the parties was for me.....

It is over, last guests leaving for Florida this morning I am on route soon to the airport and then an EMPTY HOUSE! So nice t see the Bride and Groom 3 days in a row and now off to Hawaii...
Hope their flight goes well.

I am GOING FOR THAT MASSAGE today. I must, my head is locked with this neck.

Shots tomorrow with the neurologist and then by Thursday I am hoping UP and AT EM'.....and back to work.

I have alot still to put away and clean up but that is definitely a
P A C E item....no rush to remove the tents (we didn't use) the kids sand box area (we didn't use.)..the flowers all over the yard (we didn't see)...It is just amazing how Mother nature RULES......

OK all. Glad it is over and DS#2 is married and now on his way.

I am so happy all the way on the inside................Hugs, Nancy B

Hello Nana B....OMG...Hawaii for a honeymoon....I am sure they will have a wonderful time....at such a beautiful place...my favorite spot was Pearl Harbor...so touching...

I am sure you are relieved to have the wedding behind you....it is kind of like holiday...so much to do and then within a short time...it is done...and you can then breathe a sigh of relief...and then life goes on as normal...

I am sure the wedding was beautiful...with lots of good memories for everyone to share...

I do hope you will recover soon...you know that stress is NOT our friend...but the dragon just loves it.

I hope the massage works wonders for you...and that you will feel so much better soon.

Take care and good luck..

Hi Nancy B,

Isn't it odd how the dragon makes us pay for our celebrations in life? Despite all that went wrong it sounds like the wedding and the celebrations were wonderful.

An empty house sounds good but I hope you are getting some help with the remaining chores. Enjoy that massage!

Congratulations!!!

Soft hugs,

maggie

It just goes to show that even when Mother Nature has other ideas, in the end it doesn't matter and a good time can be had by all.

Take it easy, Nancy. I'm so glad it was wonderful.

You pulled it off, despite Mother Nature. Yeh You!

Twenty wet-footed people in the house for dinner...Yikes. I bet you will really savor the quiet in the house now, and rest that body that's yelling at you.

It is so healthy for us to take on a big task, and be successful at it despite our illnesses. You created many beautiful memories for your son and his new wife. Enjoy your inner smile.
With Compassion,
Margaret

So well said...I wish we had that dang like button.....

Thanks guys, I did rest...half a day of PUT AWAY and changing beds and then sat and slept. I am hurting, but for a good cause. Shots this morning.......Hurray!

Mimi, I too found Pearl Harbor amazing. But I cried alot, it was a living memorial that just got me so emotional. My favorite Island was Maui.....a good blend of all the others.

Got a text from them last night that they landed and all was good....long flights but got there....

I have 3 more days ahead to heal and rest..........I WILL TOO.
Today the temp and NO HUMIDITY is going to be great. I am going to lay in the sun and pick up some VitD and listen to good music......I found my Kindle *cleaning up after the company! Yay!!! So I can read again in the sun (my summer sport)

Just need to not get in a hole with the pain and lack of people around again. That was a great momentum and distraction.

"I can leap small buildings with a single bound" When I am distracted......why do I cringe when I have no project or party to plan.....why is a quiet day not a good thing for me alot of the time? Hmmm.

Well, off to get shots. I will look up the posts when i get back. May today be a wonderful day for y'all....hope the weather is as beautiful as mine is (too bad so late.....) Good day a low pain day to all....................Nancy B
