You ask how could this all happen in one week- I have no answer, I had an ear infection for the second time this month. our company merged with another and me and five others got the boot. It was bad because we didn't get told why but good because I was very ill and needed to get my body back to health. All week I had a bad feeling that this could happen so I prepared my finances as I should had been doing a little better. My hearing was gone in the left ear and my had was like a hollow egg shell that needed to be cracked. My fibro was giving me bad feet and neck pain. So during this whole time I didn't want to call in because I needed the money and I didn't want a bad work record. Me being as stubborn as I am I never miss school or work no matter how tired or bad I feel. I just tend to be quiet and move around less to make it through the day. Funny I cried when they told me my job was terminated but I was happy driving home. It was like god told me he had something better in store for me and that I needed to go home and rest so I could get better. It was like a weight lifted off of my chest nice to know that I would no longer have to work in pain until I find something else. So this week I went the chiropractor and the ear doctor and I am on some strong antibiotics for 4 more days. it's nice to be able to get to all of my doctor's appts. without cancelling them. I am enjoying my children and on Sunday we too a three mile walk and today I am pooped so I am resting because my feet ache. I hope everyone else is getting by okay and that your pain is not too bad. It's nice we have this family on webmd because no one understands us but us, we all have the same aches, worries, pains, and a lot of motherly and family responsibilities. At the end of the day we need to all just talk and let it all out in a positive way. Good evening and good night to all and may your days ahead be blessed.

Hi Sexymama,

You posted that one above and, apparently accidentally, chose to post it anonymously. That 'Anon_182193' is your anonymous designation, that's all.

I'm glad that something so potentially negative has turned out to be a blessing for you.

Sounds terrible but was a gift to you in some ways. Since they let you go, will you qualify for unemployment for a while?

Ear aches are awful. One time I had one that didn't go away after the first round of antibiotics, but finally unplugged in a hot bath while on the second round of antibiotics. I hope you get over that soon.

Keep up your positive, fighting mental state, while letting your body rest a bit!
With Compassion,
Margaret
