Dear Cat:0, thanks for letting me know about the chiropractor visits. I was wondering if you would decide to go back after you had so much pain following the last myofascial release treatment. But then if I correctly remember the previous treatment made you feel better. It would be so great if the next treatments would work well for you. It seems like you also have to consider the financial commitment. that can certainly have an impact on your decision. I recently dealt with a chiropractors who wanted me to sign an agreement which would obligate me to show up twice a week for 12 weeks, prepay and be penalized if I missed an appointment. before signing I asked to try out her treatment even though the price for an individual treatment was higher than the prepay price per treatment. I knew she couldn't help me when she use her hammer in my face to adjust my bones. I have TMJ and Atypical face pain. A little breeze on my face can already set off hours of terrible face pain. that hammer certainly was not a good idea! 100 horses could not pull me back into that office after that and I am so glad I did not sign an agreements. since then I was lucky to find a much better chiropractor and go there as needed, pay a reasonable fee per visit and if I cancel 24 hours before the appointment they give me no problem. that's how I like it. years ago I often found myself stuck in these alternative treatment dilemmas. paying a fortune and not always getting good results. Very frustrating. I really hope this was just a fluke for you the last time and going forward the treatments will help you. i think its a great idea you are going to tell your chiropractor how you feel so he can consider your feedback and adjust the treatment accordingly. Let me know how it turns out if you feel up to it. OK?
best wishes, Gabuscka
