There were a few members that recommended this book and I just received it today.

I have only read the Foreword and Introduction, but I already LOVE this book! For anyone with FM, this book is written in our words, by fellow FM sufferers. I just wanted to say thank you to those who recommended it!

*hugs*

P.S. Title is: Fibromyalgia and Chronic Myofascial Pain: A Survival Manual
Authors: Devin Starlanyl, Mary Ellen Copeland

I loved this book too when I read it... so worth buying. You might also consider signing up for an e-newsletter from Medscape.com. It is mainly for the medical community, but you may be able to access it as well. "Fibromyalgia" is on my topic alert list and I get an email whenever studies are presented in medical journals or at conferences. Very interesting and could give you some "ammo" for your MD's and specialists as well as friends and family.
Hugs,
Liana

And if you've not already signed up for WebMD's Fibromyalgia (WebMD and Medscape are part of the same company), be sure to do that too. To do that, click on your name in the upper right corner when you're signed in. You can edit/choose newsletters from the next page.
