Morning FMily....MiMi in NC...where this is the 2nd time I have been up this morning....woke up around 3 this morning...OMG...don't know why but I did and I was not a happy camper....and then Harley had to go outside for a potty break....I am dog sitting her for a while...she is normally very good and in fact there are mornings when I had to get her up....she is use to getting up really early though as my son gets up early to go to work...so she comes to MiMi's to rest up...

When my sleep gets interrupted....I do not have a good night or next day...

I had a doctor's appt yesterday and the whole place had new computers....OMG...thought I was never going to get checked in and then the doctor could not figure out how to get me an appt with a specialist....he seems to agree that my problems might be the SI joint...and that injections just might be a good fix for me...I just hope it does not take too long for an appt to be made...I guess we will see.

I also had to make some errands yesterday as the doctor's office is in another town. I wait to do whatever I need to do when I am going there anyway. I did a bit of internet shopping last week-end and had to go by and pick some things up. What a time I had with this. (I normally do not internet shop but there was a 30% coupon to use and I decided it would be worth my effort to do this)...well, it turned out that it was not as easy as I thought it might be. A lesson learned.

Here is hoping each of you had a good night's rest...and I hope today will be a good day for us all. I am keeping Noah today..he was really good on Tuesday...we played with Play Doh...he loves to make things...he got something new for his birthday which has play dough...and we also watched Scooby Doo...he loves Scooby Doo...

I am hoping for sunshine today....don't know whether or not I will get it but I would certainly like to see and feel some.

Welcome to the new members who have joined our unique FM support group....I am sure that soon each of you will find something that will help you cope better.....it does take time and effort to find the right combination of *tools* that will help you cope...so hang in there and keep on keeping on until you figure it out....as with everything else connected to the wrath of the dragon, it is a *process*...

Vitamin D...be sure and ask your doctor to check your Vitamin D level...which is so very important for a lot of people these days.
Low Vitamin D can cause addtional pain for some of us...(it did for me) and it can also affect other illnesses as well. (according to the medical researchers)...

That's my story and I'm sticking to it...

Have a good day.

Good Morning, Mimi!
I woke up in a really blah head space this morning---I'll be curling up with my journal after I eat breakfast. It's gray and rainy yet again, which means no "deck time" and no outdoor walk, ugh. Maybe I'll feel perkier after I eat.

My ankle is not liking this weather at all. It's been so stiff and swollen that I can barely walk on it. I keep trying to stretch it and stay moving...The nerves are going haywire too, and the thought of tomorrow's PT is making me wince really hard. I can't even stand wearing socks because the pressure puts me up the wall. Hopefully things will settle down after all this rain blows over. I have been told these issues aren't going to go away any time soon, so I'm managing them as best as I can. Some days it isn't easy.

Complaining aside, I am pigging out this morning. I treated myself to a 3-egg omlette (I am such a glutton, omg!) with plenty of ground ham and two slices of soy cheese. I'm sure the extra protein will help me to perk up. After that I will do a good "head dump" in my journal, and I should be in good shape for the rest of the day. These gray spaces are no place to get stuck in!

Hope everyone has a good day...I'm going to finish my breakfast now before it gets cold.

Good Thursday MiMi, Angeleswife and all that follow this post.

It's going to be in the mid 80's today with lots of sunshine, but come the weekend down hill we go with rain and some Canadian cold. Could have gone with out this for a few more week. DH and I have to get the area ready to put the tropicals for the winter. We lost so many last year we are going to insulate our storm 'safe place' in the cellar for them. We also will put in a grow lite on a timer for them. I am so hopeful that this year we can save them until next spring. I do bring in and put around the house the smaller plants, but DH's large ferns just have to be down stairs in the cellar.

DH is home today and I will have to get him up in 5 minutes. He has his dental cleaning at 10 so I don't have to make breakfast cause he wants to keep his teeth clean. LOL

Angelswife, am so sorry that you woke up spacey. Happens to me so often so I know how your feeling right about now. I do as the day goes on you begin to feel better. You happy with your new hair cut? I bet you feel so much better with it cut and styled. Sending feel well hugs out to you.

MiMi, I hope your doctor can get you to that special est quickly and am really sorry you woke up so early. I did that last week and dragged all day long.

Okay, my 5 minutes is here.. Wishing each of you a great day with very few fibro issue or fibro pain.
Gentle hugs, Lind R
