    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Yours in health,

    Hello Dr. P,
I don't know if you know the answer to this, thought I would ask it anyway.
I do have Fibro, and a Hypothyroid.
Had a urine and blood test done and the Erythrocytes are 3-5 High /hpf and the Leukocytes are 21-50 High /hpf.
Would you happen to know what this means?
Also my Nuclear AB is 15 and 1:160 with Speckled pattern?
Anything would be of help and appreciated.
Hope that you are doing well and had a great summer.

    Hi Michele,

I'm not sure when Dr. P will have a chance to respond to this. He's got a lot of things needing his attention right now. But I'll gather this up for him and send when he's ready.

In the meantime, be sure to discuss with your doctor.

Glad I saw this....I have been noticing we haven't seen our CHAMPION PHYSICIAN for a bit. Hoping he was OK?

Thanks Caprice, I should have asked last week about this.

Hope all gets better for him soon................Nancy B

I will step in here to say...3-5 red cells in a female doesn't alarm but would be repeated later if having symptoms of infection. norm is NO cells.....

Your white cells also are not too bad they go real high in infection. Could have been a poor catch* and could be repeated. But if there is a story above it, like you are prone to kiney stones.....have frquent issues with blader discomfort it can be looked into further.

The average urine that we see in the hospital has often "sludge to it"...meaning tissue debris. Had you had sex recent to this?
Was the area really cleaned well and mid stream capture was taken?

(I always have more questions when I answer someone).

Your Nuclear antibody I can't comment on.

But the urine is a ("watch mode and repeat at another time)
This is a microscopic noting. Again, symptoms or known kidney to the doc and ask him about a recheck.....

I have kidney issue on the right and this is nothing in my world.

    Good luck, Nancy B RN.
