I went back and read your post. It was on the end of a very old post.

Even back then I told of being DX years ago with non-epileptic seizures. Many tests no concrete answers.....they have been blamed on pain, anxiety and a misfiring of the brain. I was on no RX meds at the time of the first episode. After many years I have learned to control my stress and pain to a degree and they only happen when I am overly tired or extreme pain.

NO ONE has ever said they are due to fibro...but I know they are connected to the pain level which turns the anxiety up which in turns the brain on! I just call them a movement disorder and live with them. I will say they are not as bad as the one you described.

Hello and welcome....MiMi in NC....I had to go back and find your post as well....some of us have problems with long would be a good thing to try to make paragraphs next time to separate them...I am one of the FMers here who have problems with my eyes...

I am sorry that you are having so much to deal with...seizures is not something that I have read about being connected to FM...but I will say this that I have fallen twice in the past years and broke my wrist each time...and I did not quite understand just how I did it...I was up and then down on the ground with a broken wrist...I have had problems with being dizzy before and had to be careful about doing things...

I would like to encourage you to be sure and ask your doctor to check your Vitamin D level which is important to a lot of people these days...low Vitamin D can cause some of us additional pain and it can also affect other illnesses as well...

I am sure others will chime in here....this is a very unique FM support group...and we do understand how you does take a trial and error process to figure out just how to cope better with the wrath of the dragon, aka hang in there and be sure and check out the info under *tips* and *resources* that you will find to the right of this will find some good info there and actually other places as well right here on this website..

    Take care and good luck....

My personal exchanges are Vitamin D and Pain and Wrath of the Dragon....if you care to visit..

Thankfully I have never experienced a seizure, but I imagine I would be equally embarrassed if that happened in public. Why are we embarrassed? It isn't like we tried to have a seizure. Heavens knows that is NOT the kind of attention anyone wants! I hope you get some answers today. Hang in there!
