Morning FMily....MiMi in NC....and it is cold here again....we had rain yesterday but it is suppose to be nice and cold today....I am ready for it is just a couple of days away now....I hope this is not a sign of more cold weather....warm sunshine would feel so good. Overall, NC has not had a really bad winter season but I think everyone is ready for nicer weather. Thank goodness that for the most part we have had lots of rain and cold...with very little snow...I guess it was not meant to be for us to have much of the *S* this year.

Here is hoping each of you had a good night's rest and I hope today will be a good day for all of us.

I found out yesterday that my granddaughter has been enrolled in school....which I was really worried about. It seems though that she was transferred from the school she was withdrawn from back on Dec I guess she did not enroll in school in AZ....the month of Jan and Feb lost...don't know exactly how this will pan out for her. I know she is a smart little girl and I am hoping she will catch up on what she needs to know...but a lot can be covered in 2 months time. Education is so important for our children.

Welcome to the new members who have joined our FM support group. I am sure that soon each of you will find the *right combination of tools* that will help you cope better. This does require a trial and error process which does take time and effort. There are no quick fixes that I am aware of. If someone knows something that works quickly though I hope that you will share it with the rest of us. I am still trying to find something to help the fatigue that I seem to feel most of the time. I still do not understand just how it can be better some days than others...I am thankful for it but IF I knew why then perhaps I could *fix* the fatigue all of the time.

Vitamin D....I am still reminding everyone about the Vitamin D and just how important getting it checked can be for some people. It seems like this is a problem for a lot of people these days. Low Vitamin D can cause more pain for some of us and it can also affect other illnesses as well.

Here is hoping everyone will have a good day. Take care and stay warm. I hear there is more snow again for a lot of people, which is hopefully the last snow of the season.

Good Tuesday moning MiMi and to all those who follow this post. MiMi, Re Caprice's address did she list her email address on her profile here? If so you could email her for the address. Or do you have angleswife's email address? I think she can help you with Caprices's hosptial address. Not completly sure, but think so.

It's sunny but cold here after yesterday's strong storms.
And it's going to be wintery cold @ night here this week as well. Hard to believe that tomorrow is the first offical day of Spring. I for one can't wait for the warm temps that will follow. The signs of spring are everywhere here. The Dogwood trees, Pear trees and Peach trees are now in bloom. the city's main street is awash of colors. Pink, white, yellow.. gosh it's all so pretty.

I was in the downtown square yesterday afternoon and it was so nice to see not a single sign of winter. Yet today I have to wear a coat beause it's cold out there.

Speaking of out there guess I should get out there so I can get home. Will close this here by sending well wishes to each of you. Have a great day. Linda R

    Hi mimi
I read your post and I want you to know if your grandaughter is in a good public school system there are specialists who will help your daughter catch up with her school work. The school psycologists and teachers will evaluate her and see where help is needed. most school systems are used to these types of problems children transfer all the time. I can tell you how many health records I have done over the years. Please enjoy her every minute she spends time with you . They grow so fast.Hugs Fran

Hello Fran and thanks for letting me know this. My granddaughter is a very smart little girl....but I also know that attendance counts as well....this entire *grand saga* has worried me a lot....the ex continues to move from place to children never went through such as this.

Trust me....I do enjoy her every chance I can get. I am so glad that she *fit* right back into our if she had never been away (for 3 years)....I think she actually knows more about *this situation* than we are aware of.

I am sure that soon things will be better for her....she loves spending time with her cousins....playing and doing things children enjoy.

I know how important it is for children to have a good childhood....since they only have one to enjoy....once they are grown, it is gone, with only the memories of what theirs was all about.

    Take care.

    Hello everyone!

I not been on in a few days. I have had a bad flare that made me leaeve work early Friday. I was just about bed ridden all weekend. Luckily I was able to work yesterday and today. I am doing much better today. Just feeling exhausted now. This last episode was the worst I have ever had. I would lay in bed and just cry. Nothing but hot showers would help and then just a little. I guess we have to go threw the bad times to appreciate the good days. I know I sure did appreiciate today!

Mimi, I am so glad you got to visit with you granddaughter. I never did get to have any children. So I do not have grandchildren to spoil. Luckily I do have great nieces and nephews to spoil.

What happeded to Caprice? I did not know she was in the hospital. I really did enjoy reading her responses. She even replied to my post a couple of times. She is so sweet and understanding. I hope she will be okay.

I hope everyone has a good week. Everyone is in my prayers.

    Soft hugs,
Your not over the hill until you are under the hill.
    BetteK replied to debrabrooks1960's response:
    Oh, Debra,

Today was better. That's all that counts. The good things.

Yes, there will be bad days and weeks, but they ARE followed by good days.

A good day is one when you get up out of bed--and not just to use the bathroom.

A good day is one when you can laugh when you hear a great joke.

A good day is one when you can talk with good friends or family.

A good day is one when you can connect with fellow FMers here.

I guess that makes almost every day a good day!

I had a day so bad yesterday, that I felt hopeless and weak. It was the worst flare I have had while at work, and I should have gone home. I went home to 5" of snow to remove from my place and 3 others. The one who expects it and rarely pays, dangled her keys from her front porch. She wanted me to clear her car, remove it, clear the snow and then park it. Neither her or her husband work. Having just got done with 8 gruelling hrs and coming home to more work, I respectfully declined. I cleared mine and the very nice elderly fibro-friend down the street and went inside. I went to bed an hr and a half early.

Today was just enough better that I payed it forward. Kind of corney, but I felt good enough to help others. So, I took the snowblower back out after a night of 40mph winds, cleared mine again, the 2 I passed on the day before, and decided to clear out the weekend home of some nice folks across the alley who had 3 ft drifts all over the place. I had just put it away when a sweet lady down the block asked for help due to her snowblower dying. I took mine back out and cleared hers very cheaply and swiftly. 3 hrs at the helm of the Ariens.

I felt better today after what I would call a good scare. I felt the need to give to others today. I hope it doesn't bite me in the rear tomorrow.

I wish you all a good night, take care everyone.

Dear Cory, Wow, I can not believe how much you got done. I hope you are not suffering from all that extra work. I hope you neighbors appreciate your hard work. You are such a good man do all that snow blowing. Luckily warmer weather is coming soon so hopefully you will not have to snow blow too much more. Please take care of yourself.

Your not over the hill until you are under the hill.
