Ok here goes I suffer from FM, along with depression, insomnia, type 1 bipolar disorder, Hyperostosis frontalis of the skull, chronic sinusitis, anxiety, carpal tunnel syndrome, depression, internal hemorrhoids with bleeding and have mucus when I have a bowel movement, upper and middle back pain with hemiangiomas on my c2 and t7 vertabre, chronic migraines, cervicalgia, cervival radiculopathy of the right and left arm, Myalgia, Myositis, Thoracic radiculopathy, unequal leg length, Lymphadenitis, on occasion my blood pressure will be high which I have learned to control with breathing and PMDD, I see several physicians but looking for one that can deal with all of these problems in the Jacksonville Fl area. I am on a lot of medication Tizanidine, trazodone, Lunesta, Alprazolam, Sertraline, Quetiapine Fumarate, and Gabapentin at night and Diazepam, Fluticasone Propionate, Lidoderm patches, Hydrocodone during the day and Sumavel Dosepro when I have migraines which works wonderfully, and lastly Motrin as needed. I not sure if I am overmedicated now that they have diagnosed me with FM due to some of these problems are under the FM criteria. I have talked to my doctors and they really don't say much about it. How do I get them to listen and figure out which ones I could do without and which on I have to stay on. I am scared that these medications are going to affect me adversely and cause other problems. If there is any expert that could help me I would really appreciate it. I would also love to here what anyone else has to say. I want to be able to go back to work but as you can see I don't think my medication or my medical problems are going to allow that. I am trying to talk my employer into letting me try 4 hrs a day but just typing this is making my back hurt. Please any help I am new to this FM diagnosis literally. My appetite is way down to the point of forcing myself to eat something before taking medication I pretty much live off of peanut crackers and popcorn. I drink a lot of orange soda and Dr. Pepper but I have started to cut back on those and drink water since I have learned I have FM. I do eat regular food when my husband cooks but that is usually just the weekends. I am also doing physical therapy due to my muscles are extremely week do to inactivity which I am trying to correct now that I know being inative can make it worse. I can't even hang my clothes up because it hurts to much and when I do dishes I have muscle spasms and it only takes 10 min to do the dishes because it is just me and my husband. I don't know what to do to get out of this pain or alleviate it to a tolorable level. I pretty much stay in an 8 to 10 when I do stuff even walking on the tread mill. I have lost 20 pounds in 2 months which is good except the way I did it which was not eating much at all. There are days when I don't even eat because I am in so much pain and depressed. Please help me. I really need it.
