    Hump Day ****9/11/2013 ***** Remember 911 families*
    dollbug posted:
Today is Hump Day....yes it is and it is a day to remember 911 and all of the families who were a part of the deadly disaster. So many who lost loved ones and so many changes in their lives to deal with. So many children's lives affected forever from what took place. Thoughts and prayers go out to all of the people who were touched by grief of losing friend(s) and/or family member(s). May GOD continue to provide these people with comfort every day. I can NOT even imagine just how tough this tragedy was for those who were involved.

MiMi in NC...and it is going to be a hot muggy day here today.

I do hope each of you had a good night's rest and I hope today will be a good day for us all...with little to no pain to deal with.

I wanted to share something that I learned from Dr. Oz's show this week. Did you know that people who take antibiotics should NOT consume any dairy products at the same time? Did you know that with antidepressants you should not eat cheese and it you happen to take blood thinner medicine that you should NOT eat green leafy vegetables? I was quite surprised at this. These foods do not work well with these medicines at all.
When taking any kind of *hormone pills* grapefruit/juice should be avoided as well.

I do enjoy watching this program as one can learn a lot of good things from it.

Vitamin D...again I remind those who have not had your doctor to check might want to speak to your doctor about this. Low Vitamin D can cause additional pain for a lot of people and it can also affect other illnesses as well.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Remember to pace, pace and pace some more.

    Have a great day.

    Hi mimi and all..

gosh wouldn't it be nice if drs told us what not to eat with our pills?

I'm giving one last ditch effort to finding out if my RX drugs might have somehting to do with these weird night-time events. So---since I know now it is not any one single drug. I'm going to see if it is a combination.

Decided to do some deliberate switching of days and nights to see if my symptoms happen in the day time instead of at night--if I take the night pills in the morning. so I may get groggy a bit. but I need to know. No point spending a lot of time & $ seeing specialists for something I might be able to figure out myself.

If I find this is not it-then I guess I need to have my head & spine scanned as a start to know if this is due to my neck issues or some underlying disease.

So I'm gonna try to rule out RX issues before my apt. on the 19th with my new doc.

    We shall see..

Other than that, I have things to do today, errands and housework mainly. Hubby comes home tomorrow, so gonna be busy today and hope to be able to take it easy tomorrow. That's how I roll. LOL.. anytime I'm busy one day, I'm on rest mode the next.

I'm sure a lot of others here have that too.

Peace to you all today, and hope nobody is overly discouraged or in too much pain.

Good middle of the week everyone. A special day of remembrance for our country. For me, even with all these years between the terrible attack on our country, it still hurts my heart and scares me to the core that something so awful happened to our country, our people and people from all parts of the World without provocation or reason.

I hope that all of you are doing well today and that the sun is out and temps are nice where you are.

it's gonna be warm here today, 90 something. So will be nice while I run errands. Yesterday outta no where came torrential rain and lightening. It was bad. Did make it out thru the heavy rain for lunch with BFF and that was nice. Was going to make yesterday a ME day but found myself running late and only got to my lunch date.

DH and I are doing better now handling the sad news we got Monday evening about the Stage 5 cancer of DH's older brother. It took a lot of conversations with friends and family yesterday to put what will happen soon into perspective. I think for most of yesterday DH and I were dealing with anger because this seems so unfair and now it's closer to acceptance because there is nothing now, nor nothing really he could have done to change this outcome. Just so sad to know we're going to be doing ' last' things with him on this visits, but am thankful that we are going into Los Angeles when we are so we will have these memories with him.

. DH and I sat outside last night and watched at least 25 humming birds zoom from feeder to feeder around the yard. They will leave us the first week of October and I really and sad I will miss 8 days of them while in LA. But they are making themselves happy here and feel safe so am hopeful they will come back to us, out yard, next season

. A very slow news day here. Not a lot to post about. I have Rehab at 1, but before and after it I hope to get yesterday's ME things done. Will try my best to get my nails done as I'm over due and get in those shopping stops at KHOLS and BELK. Also have a plan to make a stop at Victoria Secrets while at the Opry Mills Mall tonight. Tomorrow DH and I will have to get the house ready for our out of town visit.

Okay all... will close this here and get my day going.
Gentle hugs to all, Linda R
