A good morning to each of you, beginning another week and getting closer to Thanksgiving. MiMi in NC and it is going to be in the 70's today***can hardly believe this. Unusual weather for this time of year. Perhaps it is because of the storms which some places had. I have no idea.

I hope each of you had a good week-end and I hope that you were able to get some good rest. As we all know just how important sleep is for us all. I am up too early again this morning and I have no idea why. It is like my body wakes up for no good reason. I was up shortly after 5.

I did over do yesterday but I got through the day. It is bad when things happen and we still have to keep on keeping on regardless. I thought that I was stretching my limit as I was mopping. I had Harley for the week-end though and it had been damp and she had tracked in and out....so it had to be done.

I was glad that DH decided to cook out. I guess this helped my day. Not as much for me to cook. And it was indeed a good change.

Welcome to the new members who have joined our FM support group. I am sure that each of you will soon find something that will help you cope better. It does take a trial and error process since we are all different. Hang in here with us though and I am sure that soon things will improve. You just have to figure out what *combination of tools* will work for you.

Vitamin D. So very IMPORTANT. Speak to your doctor about getting your Vitamin D level checked. Do your on research about Vitamin D. There has been some interesting *research and discovery about it. Low Vitamin D can and does cause some people to have additional pain and can also affect other illnesses as well. We, FMers, must stay one step of ahead of the wrath of the dragon, aka FM.

Here is hoping each of you have a good Monday. Remember to pace, pace and pace some more and drink plenty of water each day. Water is good for our bodies.

That's all folks, for now.

Good evening everyone. It was bitter cold here today so I spent most of the day inside. It never got above 30 degrees! I did some sifting through old drawers to purge some unneeded items and I freed up some space. It was a good low impact task to pass the time. I also cleaned up the house.

I also finished and sent in my paperwork for my long term disability. I don't think I have anything on my records that will prevent my acceptance. I have to wait to hear back from the provider. I am not sure how long that takes, but I assume not more than a couple weeks. This is a big piece of mind for me.

I had to call Sears as well. We made a purchase from them online that shipped on the 31st of October, supposed to arrive on the 8th. As of today it can't be tracked or found by my myself or Sears. I didn't realize at the time of purchase it was from a third party vendor. I called and cancelled the order because the charges are on my card. I have no idea when they will figure it out. I ran out of patience and politely talked my way up the chain to get a service person qualified to cancel it. dealing with services over the phone is a personal peeve, I hope that's the end of it.

I did manage to get 8 hours of sleep last night. It doesn't happen very often. Normally I like a little less or I wake up stiff, but I was due, and feel better today.

I hope you sleep better tonight Mimi. Enjoy the warmth.

To everyone, I hope you are all doing well. Have a great night.

Wow, Cory, 20!?!!!

I thought we got cold today. Sunday was in the 50's then it got colder and windier overnight and kept falling through the day. Hubby just came in from picking up his 4 wheeler ATV from some repairs. (Over $1000! But he uses it constantly--even to go to the barn.) He said that vicious wind was blowing snow around like a whiteout.

Don't you hate it when the grocery store doesn't have it's advertised items? I wanted to get some things in early for Thanksgiving, hoping to have a better selection today. There were no big turkeys; they will be in tomorrow.

Tomorrow I'll have to stop back there before I go to the pain clinic. I hope to sign up for the real radio frequency ablation. It will be complicated because the pain doctor is opening a private clinic in town this January, and a new pain doctor will be working out of the hospital. Quite a feat for a tiny little country hospital in a small town. People come from as far as 100 miles away to our pain clinic. Usually we have to drive that 100 miles to Rochester or Buffalo to see specialists. For once those city folks are doing the driving.

Stay warm everyone.

Happy Monday to all,
My day went good. After 7 weeks of waiting, I finally got a new chair at work. The hydrollics in the old one went out and every time I moved in the chair it would slowly sink to the ground. I hurt my back so bad to have to get up out of that low position all day long. It was driving me crazy. So finally today I put on my sweetest smile and asked the warehouse guy if it had ever came in. He told me would bring it to me the first chance he got. I explained how much the old chair was hurting me and within 30 minutes he brought me my new chair. Boy it is a beauty too. Much fancier than I was expecting, and so comfortable. It even has a small pillow on the head rest. I am now afraid I will get to comfort and everyone will find me sleeping in my office! It was like Christmas had come early!

Cory, I am glad you have a few days off to rest up. I hope everything is finished with Sears. Some times it seems something so simple can be so hard.

Mimi, you are lucky to have a DH that will cook for you. I am lucky to have a brother that helps me out around the house. Since my divorce I am afraid I have taken advantage of his kindness. I am trying hard to do things for him that he enjoys to make it up to him. I it is really awesome to have a twin brother that I get alone with so good. My divorce would have been so much harder if I did not have him living with me.

I hope everyone has a peaceful night's rest. Soft hugs to all.
Debbie
