Morning FMily....MiMi in NC where we had a lot of rain last night...but I guess I ended up sleeping right through it. I had no clue until I got up this morning and woke up. I do know it was
    hot yesterday.

So this morning I am blessed with a pink cast (my color choice). As I told the doctor what happened, he looked at it and said he did not think the bone was broken but he wanted to send me for x-rays. Yes, it was broken. He then said he thought that it will heal without surgery. I am in this cast fir 2 weeks. It will then be x-rayed again and he will decide if it is mending like it should. I hope it will mend ok.

As I was sitting there I was looking at this joint book and read that now bone can be grown. Really? I had no clue. I guess anything is possible these days.

Here is hoping each of you had a good night's rest and I hope we all have a good day, with little to no pain.

Welcome to the new members who have joined our support group recently.

Vitamin sure and speak to the doctor about getting this checked.

A quick Hello to MiMi and to all that will follow this Tuesday. I hope your today will be fibro issue and pain free and one that you are able to do this day your way.

I'm on my way out the door for an early a.m. ultra sound test for my urologist that I didn't get done yesterday. It was scheduled for way to late in the day. For this test I have to go without eating or drinking so a 2 p.m. test time was not going to work out for me so I rescheduled it for 8 a.m. and that's in just a few minutes.

MiMi, sorry that you did indeed break something in that fall, but am really glad that your were able to get the arm, wrist checked by a doctor and that you are now in a healing cast and under a doctor's care for it. I hope that you don't need surgery and that your bones do knit back together without needing anything more than a pretty colored cast.

It's going to be very warm here today. Strong rain storms moved in early last night and their down pours caused some flooding and some wind damage. But those storms and showers moved out of here by 11 p.m. and am guessing they were over NC and MiMi at some point over night. I'm getting really tired of these strong rain storms. It's everyday that we get them. No chance to dry out. To say we're soggy here is an understatement.

I guess this is where I should close this...
Wishing one and all a wonderful day.
    Gentle hugs, Linda R

    Happt Tuesday!

Cool (69?) and raining here, not good when you're in pain. I can feel the dampness in my bones. Even the dog is crankier than usual. We'll have to co-exist and stay out of each other's way today.

I got the news about the insurance money for the kitchen - it's about 1/4 of what we need. My adjuster is coming over later this week to explain what we're getting paid for and get a check for his fee. DH is talking about selling some stock. I have that icky pit-feeling in my tummy. I guess that's the best we can expect, and we still have to have a kitchen installed! Now that ball is mine, and the negotiations will begin!

I've been having an awful time with the plantar fasciitis in my right foot. It feels worse every day. Brokenmom2, who checked in yesterday, saids she had surgery last Nov for hers, and I'm hoping she'll share how that worked out.

Mimi, I'm glad you saw the doc and are now on the mend. I injured my wrist many many years ago, the pain was excruciating for a year, and I saw specialist after specialist with no relief. It turned out the wrist was a symptom of a SHOULDER spasm from the same incident! Six weeks of PT and I was good as new!

Linda, I hope your US goes smoothly, and the problem is corrected quickly.

Nancy, I'm sorry I missed your birthday, I hope it was a great day for you!!

Cory, I take life one minute at a time. Pacing helps a bad day become better. I hope pacing works into your work.

Wishing all the best day you can possibly have,

    Hi All..
Mimi--wow. Well pink is nice I guess. Hope it mends right.
Lou--- I know that pit of the tummy thing.. hope you guys can figure out the way to deal with it.

Everyone else--just hoping good days for all of you, good sleep tonight.

Spent my day doing daycare. I'm doing ok, still having some memory issues--or finding out where I messed up. Realizd today I forgot to pay the mortgage. 10 days ago. man..

2 y/o grand son has learned to take off his diaper. that was fun. 3 times today, and a little poop on the pillow during naptime. Other wise kids did good today-- I got a little pool and a sand box for them. so they are busy. We go outside in the morning and come in before it gets insanely hot and I don't want to burn any of my little blondies.

Watched the geese families wiht their babies on my lake, this morning as the sun was rising and again this evening as the moon was coming up.

    Blessed inspite of my issues.

Good evening everyone. It was a very trying day here. I went to work very, very sore. I did a project after work yesterday knowing I should wait, but wanted it done. It was a foolish move. It was hard to walk and not show my pain. I was also slammed with stupidity by a few employees and was not about to let it bite me in the rear. It was in my expertly skilled area and no one can make me look a fool, I state the truth and it speaks for itself. I quickly cleaned up that mess while proving a point and was also feeling a little better.

Then suddenly another problem arose with personnel, also not mine, but in my lap. The plant manager was gone, the next in command had a bad case of little man syndrome. I thought he would try to include me in the round of write ups he did today. I am certain if he had called me that would be it. I was ready to bail on my employer or blow a cork.

I am one of the calmest people ever to work there. Some say they have never seen me even upset. I was very close. I have also never had any reprimand in my 21 years, just by being honest and doing my job. In the end he did not try to pin it on me. I literally ran away from the time clock to get the hell out of there.

I did feel a lot better by afternoon. It was a pleasant surprise. Once home I hoped to finally get an apology from the home invader or her spouse, no luck. We and that couple were both invited to a birthday party tomorrow. My kids will now miss out on so we don't make a scene at a friends house. I cannot believe the lack of remorse that addiction creates. The kicker? It is my brother's wife! Arggggg....rant complete.

I sooo wish it was Friday. I am sorry to let it out but I have few channels. Thank you, and take care everyone.

    missist replied to mnjeepguy's response:
Hi Cory, just read about your day. So stressful. I hope you were able to just stop and take a breathe some time.
