I see so many posts and doctors advising me to exercise and use shower chair for sitting under the shower, destress, etc
I don't know if I'm just not explaining my pain and symptoms well enough or they don't think I hurt that bad. .I feel like I'm not being heard.
I can't give my whole medical history here but I haven't been able to work since 2005.I pay for a gym membership I don't go to because I hurt too bad.I have been fighting trying to get disability since 2007.I have developed depression due to 24/7 pain, even a shower wears me out.mydepression is getting bad enough that I have days I'd rather be dead so I would be out of the pain.It is getting to the point that it is causing promblems with my relationships with family members.I don't know what to do any more. Are others out there as severe with their Fibro as I am?

I just keep thanking you Caprice,....As I watched I jotted down all 12 of the tips... I am the queen of notes and list..but the journal has been on my to do list for way to long.

Out of all of them, I only do 3 as a regular....will work on it now that I have it jotted it down..I am glad my DH has been with me during this, and especially glad he was there when the Dr. diagnosed it and explained it to us.

Hi Bluesky and welcome to WebMD,

You're definitely not alone in the severity of your fatigue and pain with FM, nor in the resulting depression.

You've found a wonderful place of support here.

I encourage you to start a new discussion to talk with others here. To do so, hold your cursor over the orange Post Now button on the upper right and choose 'Discussion' from the drop down menu which appears. Fill in the subject line and body of the message (no need to do the poll part) and Submit.

Hang in there. You're not alone anymore.
