Hello.....MiMi in NC.....I actually researched this on another one of this doctor's websites.....when I had it...and I actually watch him perform the surgery on line....now...if you think that you are going to have to have the surgery....then you might not want to watch it....

My bones did get better also.....once I had the surgery and another bone scan was done on me.....it is interesting to know that this little gland can cause so much of a problem...mine was the size of a pecan in the shell....and it was much larger than the ultrasound had indicated to the surgeon......

I would suggest to you that if the surgeon you are sent to does not think this is the problem.....then ask the surgeon if he/she can do the ultrasound....just to make sure....

The surgeon told me that I could have had a stroke or heart attack since my levels got to 88....which is almost 10 times the normal of 9.2.....

This could be part of your pain problem.....I know that it was for me....but I was still stick once the surgery was done....but better.....

Take care and good luck....
