Spell Checking 101

Hopefully, this will take better than my emoticon 102 post did.

Anyhow...as you type a message in, or a reply or whatever...keep your eyes open and any words you have that are underlined with a squigley red line, are thought to be misspelled by the program. If you go back to these words prior to posting the message, and right click on them, you should get a selection of possible spellings for that word...who knows, one may even be correct Whodathunkit? (like that word comes up as misspelled...pfft...gotta be kidding...Whodathunkit has been in the dictionary for generations!

I don't think all computers have that program. I am so glad you posted this. My computer does this, but I never thought to say anything about it. It may just come with the computer, I really don't know how that works.

thank you for your brains..

It works for those using Firefox as their browser and I've heard IE8 has an add-on for this. So if you're using IE6 or IE7, you may be out of luck.

(FYI, anyone still using Internet Explorer 6 really should consider updating as most websites - I'm talking about all websites, not just WebMD - will soon no longer be supporting it. You'll still be able to use those websites but you may miss some of its features or features will be broken as time goes on.)
