    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Yours in health,
    WebMD Message Boards Management

Found a new source of help

I live in Virginia and found a group of women that specialize in women's physical therapy. This group works only with women on several different issues that women are more prone to have. I would feel certain that this idea is not uncommon, and what I have experienced in my visits has been very positive. Hope this might help someone who has tried everything else!

    Hi Annmarie,

Specific recommendations, naming particular practitioners, of this kind cannot be posted on our boards.

If you feel comfortable doing so, you may want to post your own email address here in case Turtletrinkets wants to share this. Please be sure to only use an anonymous email address, one you can easily throw away again, to protect yourself from spammers.

I think Turtletrinkets was trying to share the kind of thing to look for in everyone's own areas. :-)

    thank you

Yes, I was trying to encourage people to do research in what is available in their area. I would also encourage people to network with other people both with FM and those lucky ones who don't have it---probably they know someone who does. That is how I found out about these people!

If you feel comfortable with what Caprice suggested, you can send me an e-mail using an address that is specifically set up for situations like this---spamers are horrible, and you don't want to use a primary account.
