    My tips for coping with Fibromyalgia

    Get 10 hours of sleep per night (sometimes impossible)
    Eat healthy, well-balanced diet, low in fat and sugar
    Two warm showers per day
    Monthly massage
    Aquatherapy exercise in pool between 92 and 94 degrees temp
    Exercise by walking as much as possible

    I try to do each of these things as often as possible. I have trouble getting everything done while traveling, but the depression lessens while on the road, and this gives me an added boost. However, too many nights with less than 10 hours sleep makes the fibro much worse. My legs give out on me and the pain increases. Hope this is helpful to some of you. Also, I take only Tylenol for Arthritus or aspirin for pain. I have tried other meds with no success.

    Hello Tapper and welcome....MiMi in NC....I do want to comment here...and I do not know if you will actually see I just now noticed this post was put up 9 months ago...

    I do hope though that by have gotten your Vitamin D level it is so important for a lot of people...

    I am glad that you have found things which has helped you cope....I can only dream of getting 10 hours of sleep at night...I am truly blessed if I get 6-7 hours of sleep at one time....

    You are completely right. When I feel my best that is my routine as well. I have always needed 10 hours of sleep and excersice.
