    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

I ran alot during the school months and took a month break. A week ago I started up again and on the fourth day my leg suddenly gave out. The pain is on the left side of my knee on the bone that sticks out and it becomes very painful when I walk and sometimes the pain radiates down. When I am sitting however sometimes I feel no pain at all but it doesn't make sense to me since it is a little swollen also. Does anyone have any ideas what I might have done to it?

    Hi An,

I don't know what's wrong. You can check one of the health boards here http://men.webmd.com/default.htm http://women.webmd.com/default.htm and the symptom checker http://symptoms.webmd.com/default.htm#./introView But if it continues you ought to give your doctor a call. Good luck. Rich
